My experience was truly excellent, I recommend it 100%.
From the moment you arrive, you’re treated like a guest, not just a customer. You make friends easily and by the time you leave, it feels like you’re saying goodbye to family.
The atmosphere is amazing, very warm and positive. Everyone is incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. You really feel at home here.
I’m very grateful for the experience and would definitely come back. Highly recommended

The tasks are really simple, sweeping the floor, turning on and off the lamp, making sure guests have their beds, and cleaning bathroom & trash. Other than that, you can mingle with locals to get discount for activities and explore with other travelers. Such great experience to know other cultures too!

Volunteering at Tetebatu Hostel was my favourite activity on my Indonesia trip. As soon as I arrived I felt welcomed and made apart of the community. The people made a great difference and even though Tetebatu is a quiet town we would find small adventures for every day. The workload was on the easier side in the low season and there was a lot of time to enjoy the surroundings. There is a lot of other young travellers coming through the hostel as well so you get a chance to meet new people everyday as well ☀️ If you want a true and authentic experience in Indonesia, this is it!

Volunteering at Tetebatu Hostel was amazing and one of the best experiences during my travels!
I felt part of the family from day one, everyone is so kind and welcoming. The tasks were simple and easy, and I loved the connection with local life and nature. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, I truly recommend this experience to anyone looking for an authentic and meaningful stay in Lombok! 🌿💚 Can't wait to come back!

Tetebatu is a magical place where you can really feel immersed in the local culture and nature. The voluntary mission is really easy (cleaning hostel during 1-2h) and you have time to enjoy you stay. Notice that it is not the most confortable and social hostel that you can find in Lombok but the promiscuity make you feel closer with everyone
