Volunteering at the hostel was my favourite activity on my Indonesia trip. As soon as I arrived I felt welcomed and made apart of the community. The people made a great difference and even though the hostel is a quiet town we would find small adventures for every day. The workload was on the easier side in the low season and there was a lot of time to enjoy the surroundings. There is a lot of other young travellers coming through the hostel as well so you get a chance to meet new people everyday as well ☀ If you want a true and authentic experience in Indonesia, this is it!

Volunteering at the hostel was amazing and one of the best experiences during my travels! I felt part of the family from day one, everyone is so kind and welcoming. The tasks were simple and easy, and I loved the connection with local life and nature. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, I truly recommend this experience to anyone looking for an authentic and meaningful stay in Lombok! 🌿💚 Can't wait to come back!

I really had an amazing time here at the hostel, the work is very easy and it doesn't take long to get it done, you have a lot of free time to explore the nature here in the hostel, the people are very kind and lovely, you become quickly a part of the family. Its also fun to meet a lot of international travelers. If I come back to lombok will for sure come back to this place, thank you for giving me this lovely experience.

I had 2 great weeks in the hostel. Cleaning the hostel takes about an hour after check-out and that's pretty much all the work you do!! You work/sleep at the hostel but can use the facilities at samasama where there's a big hangout area, a pool and live music every Saturday The food is the BEST I've had in Indonesia! And everyone you meet are truly kind and fun to be around! This is not for you if you're looking to party or da lot of activities. Come here to connect with nature and locals! Thank you Libin, Aja, Ida, Ross, Figho, Juan, Igel and the rest of the team💗

My time at the hostel was very nice! The work was very manageable and easy to do each day, and I had plenty of time to explore the hostel. What I loved most was the community - the locals and the host are just so kind here and I felt a sense of togetherness, it was heartwarming to bond with everyone through conversations and music. It was unfortunate that I had gotten food poisoning prior to starting the volunteering, but even then the host was very accommodating.
