Guesthouse Tamamiya

The city of Koshu, Yamanashi Prefecture, where we live, is a producer of peaches and grapes and has a wonderful view of Mount Fuji. In spring, many cherry
blossoms and peach blossoms bloom.
I would like you to help about 4 hours a day.

I work as a beautician and my future husband is a farmer who grows grapes and vegetables. What I'm looking for is help with farming and I offer private accommodation. https://www.instagram.com/tamamiya_minpaku

The family was so nice and welcoming! I loved every second there and felt at home. Their home is cozy and clean and they made sure I'm always comfortable. The tasks were fair and well explained. I was able to practice my Japanese a lot and they were very patient with me. We had a lot of fun evenings together and I loved Miyukis cooking! I'm so grateful for everything!

I stayed for 1 week and had a great experience. Miyuki, Katchan, and Baba were very kind, and as the only volunteer I had a private room with a view of Mt. Fuji. The farm work was 3–4 hours a day, physically engaging but manageable. The food was delicious, and I could use a bike to reach the station on my day off. They also picked me up when I arrived and took me back when I left. Highly recommended!

I have no words to explain how lovely and kind Tamamiya family was with me! Miyuki, Katchan and Baba are the sweetest humans on earth! If you love nature, farming work, japanese food and slow-life rhythm, this is your place! I felt like another family member... and for god sake how tasty is Miyuki's food! (also Katchan and Baba are great chefs! Work is also fair, never did more than 3 hours.. and I practiced a lot of japanese! Please explore around cause there's so much nature. Highly recommended. Thank you again, I will come back <3
