Guesthouse Tamamiya

The city of Koshu, Yamanashi Prefecture, where we live, is a producer of peaches and grapes and has a wonderful view of Mount Fuji. In spring, many cherry
blossoms and peach blossoms bloom.
I would like you to help about 4 hours a day.

I work as a beautician and my future husband is a farmer who grows grapes and vegetables. What I'm looking for is help with farming and I offer private accommodation. https://www.instagram.com/tamamiya_minpaku

Tamamiya was my second home for a week. I couldn't have asked for a better first experience. The family is very warm, kind and hardworking, there is something to learn from each and every one of its members.
The workload is fair, the hours very generous and the food is delicious.

One of the details I'll most remember is being sick during my stay, Katsu-san noticed this and gave me easy work at home for a day. This is just an example of the never ending love that Tamamiya Guesthouse gives its guests. I'm very excited to come back!

The family was so nice and welcoming! I loved every second there and felt at home. Their home is cozy and clean and they made sure I'm always comfortable. The tasks were fair and well explained. I was able to practice my Japanese a lot and they were very patient with me. We had a lot of fun evenings together and I loved Miyukis cooking! I'm so grateful for everything!

I stayed for 1 week and had a great experience. Miyuki, Katchan, and Baba were very kind, and as the only volunteer I had a private room with a view of Mt. Fuji. The farm work was 3–4 hours a day, physically engaging but manageable. The food was delicious, and I could use a bike to reach the station on my day off. They also picked me up when I arrived and took me back when I left. Highly recommended!
