BnB & Huskytours in Sweden

You can learn a lot about life in such a harsh condition above the polar circle. And you can also learn everything about my huskies if you are interested. In your free time, you will be able to join a tour or even drive a dog sledge on your own for free.
The happy dogs that love to cuddle are the best reward for your work.

I'm a nature guide with a pack of around 40 Alaskan huskies, living outside Kiruna in the North of Sweden with my dogs and touristic company (started it around 4 years ago). I usually have about 3-4 helpers during winter. In summer 1-2. We usually eat dinner all together and take turns in preparing them. Otherwise, the kitchen is always open and the fridge full ;)

I am currently still staying at Husky dreams because I decided to extend my stay for 2 weeks!
I had a great time at husky dreams these past 2,5 months! Learned a lot about sled dogs and this very unique lifestyle, I got to drive an ATV, snowmobil and sled, helped with different tasks concerning the dogs like feeding, cleaning kennels, preparing for tours/training etc.
Definitely important that you are physically fit and are capable of handling strong dogs, and to ask lots of questions. So far its been a great learning experience personal as well and I can definitely recommend it :)

Thank you so much Sanne and Per for a wonderful month with 48 huskies. This is such an unforgettable experience and I’ll miss sweet baby Obee a lot. Highly recommended this experience for other volunteers! The hosts are incredibly nice and welcoming. The home is cozy and lovely. And the dogs are simply adorable 💖

My stay at husky dreams during the summer was incredible. From cuddling dogs, cleaning and fixing a few things around the property. It was a good balance. Sanne was always making shure we were ok and Per is a really good cook. I already miss being surrounded with dogs all day long. I'm also grateful to Sanne who enabled me to be creative and shared her thoughts with me.

I truly have no words to describe the incredible opportunity I had working at Husky Dreams.
Thank you, Per, Sanne, and all the amazing volunteers I met for making me feel at home the entire time. These four months have been full of hard work, but I would do it all over again a hundred times.
A special thanks to the dogs, my bananas for taking me all over with the sled and keeping me company whenever I was feeling down.
This was a life changing experience that not only disciplined me but also offered me endless days of fun and breathtaking scenery.

I had a great time at Husky Dreams!
43 dogs that I miss. 43 very strong and beautiful bananas that give you a lot of love and kisses.
Per and Sanne are very nice people, they made sure I felt at home and always worried if I was okay.
Volonteers rooms are very nice and clean, and plenty of food.
Nice atmosphere also with the other volonteers. Thank you Till for making me breakfast every morning :)
I highly recommend this experience.
Thank you again Per and Sanne for everything and hope to see you and the dogs soon🫶
