How Our Program Works

At Munjoh Resorts, volunteers are an important part of our guest experience. As a Bartending & Guest Dining Volunteer, you’ll work alongside our local restaurant team to bring creativity, energy, and professionalism to our dining spaces. Your role is not just mixing drinks — it’s about curating memorable dining moments, elevating service, and helping our team grow.

You’ll be expected to:

Craft artisanal cocktails and mocktails with flair.

Guide guests through food & beverage choices with confidence.

Share plating, garnishing, and presentation techniques with the local staff.

Support the team in restaurant service during peak hours.

Maintain a high standard of professionalism and guest engagement.

This program is structured, professional, and rewarding. While we encourage fun, we also value discipline, guest respect, and a proactive, “doer” mindset.


Activités et horaires

Activities & Shifts

Weekly Commitment: 32 hours (approx. 5–6 hours per day, 5–6 days a week).

Activities:

Prepare and serve artisanal cocktails & mocktails.

Engage guests at the bar and restaurant, recommend food & drinks.

Support staff in service, plating, and presentation.

Assist with setup, clean-down, and maintaining hygiene standards.

Share knowledge with local team to uplift skills and confidence.

Shift Structure:

Afternoon Prep (2–3 hrs): Mise-en-place, bar setup, cocktail bases, tasting.

Evening Service (3–4 hrs): Guest interaction, bar service, menu guidance, staff support.

Optional Rotations: On certain days, short morning sessions (training or team workshops) may replace prep.

Shifts are basis guest needs, ensuring balance between meaningful contribution and time to enjoy the island.

Rules & Standards

Alcohol Policy: Volunteers must serve responsibly, never over-pour or encourage excessive drinking. No personal consumption of alcohol during shifts.

Food Hygiene: Strict hygiene must be followed – clean hands, neat attire, no cross-contamination, respect kitchen protocols.

Professional Conduct: Always be polite, guest-focused, and proactive. No casual behavior, arguments, or inappropriate interactions with guests.

Appearance: Well-groomed, clean clothing suitable for a restaurant/bar setting. No sloppy or untidy dressing.

Reliability: Arrive on time, complete shifts fully, and support teammates without needing repeated instructions.

Substances: No drugs or intoxication on or off shift. Zero tolerance.

Respect: Treat staff, guests, and property with care. Follow cultural sensitivity in guest interactions.

Confidentiality: Any guest or resort information must remain private.
