The guest house is very nice place to stay, you've got a pool and a car to share with your fellow volunteers so your flexible to go to the closest beaches, buy groceries or even do some day trips! The work was fair and you still have a lot of free time to explore and enjoy the life in the algarve. The only downside for me that there are a lot of volunteers and the kitchen is rather small, but if you manage with your fellow volunteers it is still reasonable!
