1) When You arrive, Nobody welcomes you or tell you about the work, but they will be the first complaining that we don't know how to do things 2) there aren't enough surfboards as they claim. There are 2 for 12 volunteers 3) also the car is trash, and it's not even allowed to drive to another city with it 4) you sleep with 5 other people in a room. Some even have to sleep on the floor, so there is not even enough beds for everyone. If you have bad luck you are the one sleeping where everyone is walking 9) Sometimes the whole day there is no water to shower 10) don't choose the guest house, trust!!

I had a great time at the guest house! the work was quite intense but i met the coolest people and the nature there is amazing :) i would definitely recommend!

A guest house é um lugar bem bacana, ideal pra quem gosta de estar em um lugar tranquilo e conectado com a natureza. As praias cercanas são lindíssimas e também é possível conhecer cidades próximas como Sagres e Lagos, lá tem um amigo bem bacana que nos leva a esses lugares, o Ferrari, um carro amigo de todos que fica a disposição dos voluntários. Todos os colaboradores são bem bacanas e os horários das atividades são respeitados. Um ótimo lugar pra quem quer conhecer o estilo de vida do Algarve

I had a great few weeks at the guest house. The other volunteers were all very nice and welcoming. The volunteer living spaces were homey and the breakfast food was good (you will eat SO MUCH delicious bread during your stay here). There are only 3 surfboards & the one car (the bikes are all kinda broken) for ~12 volunteers/staff, so coordinating it is a bit tricky sometimes. Aljezur is remote/hilly, so be prepared to walk a lot (though if the weather's nice, it's not bad!). The beach is gorgeous & you're done with work early enough every day that you can enjoy the sunset by the water!

Lugar incrível!, a praia fica perto da guest house, os funcionários são amigáveis e as horas de trabalho sempre foram respeitadas, amizades e momentos que vou guardar para sempre!

El lugar es muy lindo y su dueño Joao muy amable con todos los voluntarios. Hay tablas de surf a disposición de los voluntarios lo cual está buenísimo ya que el atractivo principal del pueblo son sus playas y olas.

Llegue a utopía en marzo y sentí una energía tan bonita igual que una familia por esa razón extendí mi estadía por 8 meses más. la casa es mi casa, hay gente buena y bonita, el sitio es mágico, los mejores atardeceres de Portugal lo encuentras en este paraíso. la casa es un lugar tranquilo y es el mejor de toda la zona para hacer voluntariado, las tareas son simples, puedes usar el gimnasio, la piscina, las bicicletas, las tablas de surf, siempre estaré agradecida con Joao y toda la familia Utopía por dejarme vivir esta experiencia tan linda.
