Iris was a fantastic host and made my time here very enjoyable! She's the best and goes out of her way to make sure you're comfortable. The work was very physical sometimes, I was not expecting to be hauling big rocks around as much as I was. But the hours were respected and you have a lot of free time to relax and enjoy the beauty of Isca. I would 100% recommended to anyone looking live a simple daily life in nature.

Iris was a lovely and considerate host all throughout my stay. She helped me practice my Dutch and figure out tickets for where I was going next. Plus drive us to the store, beach, or the market. It was also a super unique experience for me as I had never gone to a small Italian village before. The work was physical, but you had a nice space to relax in for the rest of the day. Plenty of beautiful nature, views, great food, and nice people.

Was one the best experiences of my life, the memories I made in my short stay will last a lifetime. The people, culture and nature is just unbeatable. Iris's farm is truely something magical couldn't recommend this enough !

My boyfriend Adam and I have long dreamed of going on vacation to some small magical village in southern Italy.When I found this offer, I immediately had a very strong feeling that this was the right choice.And it was.It was 100 times more beautiful than we imagined.The whole stay felt like we were in a movie and the environment we were in was beautiful.It was magical how the local people became our family in an incredibly short time.They immediately accepted us as their own.I'm sure it wasn't the last time we were there. I will never forget the experiences I have from there.Thank you so much!

My stay at the farm was perfect! I couldn't imagine a better (first) worldpackers experience than the one we had with Iris and her family. They were super amazing, cooperative, outgoing and overall really genuinely friendly people. I felt like they were my family. Home away from home. The work was not super hard, but even though the heat sometimes made it harder, it was nothing we couldn't handle. The tasks mostly consisted of cleaning in and around multiple houses on Iris's property, or cleaning at the orchard full of orange and lemon trees. 10/10 experience. I highly recommend to everyone.

This was my second Worldpacking experience and it has the best by far! The tasks that you have to do are quite simple. Iris (the host) is the best person ever. She's so charming, kind, friendly, and FULL of energy. She reminds me of Tina Turner. So much energy and such good vibes all the time! I just love her and she will always be in my heart. I would recommend this experience a thousand times! Thank you Iris for everything! ❤️

The place is absolutely beautifull. The work was very physical and because of the high tempatures in the summer it could get a little hard, but as reward you could take dives in the pool to feel refreshed. It was a very nice experience and very different from the city. Iris is very nice. Her sons were really nice aswell and her dog and the puppies were super cute.

This was truly a formative experience for me. I worked from 7am-12 and had the day to enjoy the hilltop village of Isca. Iris made me feel like family, and I truly enjoyed spending time with her, her boys and her curious dog Dell. I had the chance to explore some of the towns by the marina and really enjoyed it; the Ionian Sea is truly magical. You'll love this experience if you're ready to get to know the land and yourself better! There're many hours to hang and enjoy your surroundings, so bring a book or two and settle in to the natural world of southern Italy.

Unfortunately my time with Iris was cut short, but for the time being it completely changed my world. Iris is the most uplifting, energetic and young spirited lady I have ever met and she is truly what made being in Isca so fantastic. She has a beautiful way of seeing the world and I think we shared a lot of our passion for nature. She also took me to my most favourite destination in the whole world - a clothing market - So for that alone, I give my experience at the farm a 11/10. Thank you so much for having me Iris, I am sure to be seeing you again.

My time with Iris and the other volunteer was incredible and has truly shaped my perspective on working in nature and experiencing local life in south Italy! Iris became like a second mom to me and Cammie like a little sister. Tasks were different and fun each day and always with tea / espresso breaks. I will absolutely be back!! 🥰
