El lugar es un paraíso terrenal, era como estar soñando con los ojos abiertos. Iris es una persona maravillosa, muy cálida, amable y graciosa, como le gusta decir a ella “un sol”. El trabajo no es para cualquiera, requiere de esfuerzo físico y la mayoría es al aire libre, pero es entretenido, se aprenden cosas nuevas, son pocas horas por día y los turnos son flexibles. Ame mi estadía en Isca, no veo la hora de volver!

Gracias Iris por aceptarme y permitirme conocer el cielo, en este lugar puedes ver el mar y bañarte en el río, ver el sol, la luna y las estrellas (sobre todo estrellas fugaces), desconectarte del mundo y conectarte contigo mismo y por supuesto conocer otros voluntarios con quienes no solo compartes tiempo cocinando recetas deliciosas sino también intercambiando su cultura. Los vecinos son muy amables contigo y qué decir de Iris, bueno, ella es sencillamente increíble, lo que necesites siempre cuenta conmigo.

Amazing experience in Italy! The place is perfect if you want to disconnect and live a simple, rural lifestyle close to nature. The work was very simple, mainly harvesting olives and doing a bit of painting and you cook for yourself, which adds to the experience. Iris is an incredible host, always kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and meaningful stay.

This was my very first Worldpackers experience and I could not recommend it more! “Shifts” are from 8am to 1pm with a break. You have to cook for yourself and buy groceries which taught me how to cook better so no complaining. There are a couple guest houses she has for Worldpackers to stay in. The village is beautiful but a far far walk from shops and food. Iris was an AMAZING host. She took me into town when available. I enjoyed the work in nature and especially enjoyed how Iris and her family interact. Such an amazing experience I will forever remember. If you're contemplating going, GO.

It was an amazing experience! I already miss Isca ❤️ This is the perfect place if you're looking to clear your mind and reconnect with nature. I loved the olive harvesting and our cozy tea breaks. I'm really grateful to Iris for everything!

So glad to come back again! This time was just as lovely as last time. The house was magical, the people sweet. Many wholesome memories, many shared laughs. I really loved every task given either if it was with chickens or paint brushes, was always interesting and a learning experience ♥️

Thank you Iris again for the amazing experience! It was my second time in Iris place in Isca, and again it was lovely and amazing. The experience was really different from the last year, and it is really nice bc it was exactly the same place. I had the absolute best experience at Isca with Iris! This was my first worldpackers experience and I didn't really know what to expect but the 3 weeks I spent here completely exceeded expectations in every way. Iris is so amazing and caring, the work was varied and fulfilling - especially out in the orchards, and the place itself is sooo beautiful. August was a great month to be there with so many local festivities going on and this meant I was able to connect with locals and learn a lot about the culture and language, which was a huge bonus. Truly such a phenomenal experience!!

I had such an amazing first World Packers experience on Iris's farm in Isca! Iris is such a wonderful host, always providing clear work instructions, respectful of working times, creating new & interesting tasks for us to do everyday, and including us in her trips into town & to summer festivals & markets. Iris was so welcoming & passionate about her farm and the Isca community. I will miss our tea breaks & snorkeling at the beach with her! Isca is such a small but unique town that holds so much character to it & land surrounding it is absolutely magical & the local community is so welcoming!

Although I was only there for two weeks, I had a great time. The location is awesome, it just gets a little hot in the sun. The work can be hard but feels very rewarding. The tea and snacks are superb, and my legs are very in shape. I would definitely recommend to come for three or more weeks to really live the life and see all that is around Isca. Thank you Iris and Martín for everything 🤘
