I had an amazing experience at the lodge and would recommend it to anyone. I was made to feel really welcomed and appreciated. The work was fun and rewarding. All the staff at the lodge are incredibly helpful and make sure everyone is involved.

The hotel is just what you want to go for if you want to have a good timebin one of the most beautiful places on earth, surrounded by fun, laid back people who get their work done. The work was easy enough and always easily accomplished in the agreed time. You have enough time to explore the area, go surfing, hiking, see beaches and hitch hike to Louisburgh. The staff is so helpful when it comes to making plans in your free time, offering rides and things to do, always making sure you're having a good time. The food is great and the place is amazing. Thanks for everything the hotel :)

BigStyle is truly a little piece of magic which exceeded all of my expectations. I loved teaching at the gorgeous studio, work instructions are always clear and we mainly did shifts in teams which made it really enjoyable. Plenty of time to explore the area, take walks down to the beach, surf and relax in the BigDipper. I loved all the other volunteers, who made my days at the lodge even more fun. Paco and Tori are awesome, always keen to help and made sure that everything was okay with us volunteers. Thanks for everything guys, Killadoon will always have a special place in my heart!

I had the most amazing experience at the hotel! It's a beautiful location and it was so fun learning to surf in Ireland. The other staff and volunteers were great and I'll miss this place a lot :)

I really loved teaching yoga at the hotel! The lodge is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views that made every day special. I truly enjoyed connecting with the guests and fellow volunteers. Tori, one of the managers, was incredibly welcoming, approachable, and such a positive presence. With most of the team being men, she brought a unique energy. The general vibe is super relaxed you're encouraged to match the level of care and effort modeled by the team, which creates a laid-back and low-pressure environment.

I had an amazing experience at BigStyle! Us volunteers became a little family and were in awe of the scenery every single day. I loved being by the beach and each day we'd swim, surf, walk or do yoga (wetsuits & boards included!)🌞 Ally, Griffin and Paco were always happy to help and are lovely, hilarious and down-to-earth managers. Being there at the end of the season had its perks too - the workload was easygoing and we had lots of free time to explore and use the facilities (i.e. hot tub and sauna…). Thanks for everything guys, this was the best welcome to Ireland 🇮🇪 I highly recommend!

My experience at BigStyle was truly incredible! I just have to thank the team who were always very kind and welcoming to me. It was a amazing opportunity to teach Yoga in this wonderful place developing my ability to teach in English and contribute to people's well-being. It was great to practice surf and relax in the hotel Dipper. All this brought me a lot of joy, learning and good connections. I felt it was a privilege to see that stunning landscape everyday and also to stay in the great rooms of the Lodge, because it was almost winter and there weren't many guests. I miss everything... 🩵

During the 5 weeks I was at the hotel, I had the opportunity to experience moments that I will never forget. It was one of the most enriching experiences I've had, the staff is incredible, the surf, the yoga, the hiking, the freedom we had to explore the surroundings, the food, the energy, the sauna and jacuzzi, the good neighbors, the rainbows. Working hours were respected and the entire team is amazing and lovely. I'm so grateful to had this opportunity in my life and I'm so happy to have met the people I spent time with. A true treasure and magical place in the middle of nowhere 😊🤍
