I had the most amazing experience at the hotel! It's a beautiful location and it was so fun learning to surf in Ireland. The other staff and volunteers were great and I'll miss this place a lot :)

I really loved teaching yoga at the hotel! The lodge is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views that made every day special. I truly enjoyed connecting with the guests and fellow volunteers. Tori, one of the managers, was incredibly welcoming, approachable, and such a positive presence. With most of the team being men, she brought a unique energy. The general vibe is super relaxed you're encouraged to match the level of care and effort modeled by the team, which creates a laid-back and low-pressure environment.

I had an amazing experience at BigStyle! Us volunteers became a little family and were in awe of the scenery every single day. I loved being by the beach and each day we'd swim, surf, walk or do yoga (wetsuits & boards included!)🌞 Ally, Griffin and Paco were always happy to help and are lovely, hilarious and down-to-earth managers. Being there at the end of the season had its perks too - the workload was easygoing and we had lots of free time to explore and use the facilities (i.e. hot tub and sauna…). Thanks for everything guys, this was the best welcome to Ireland 🇮🇪 I highly recommend!

My experience at BigStyle was truly incredible! I just have to thank the team who were always very kind and welcoming to me. It was a amazing opportunity to teach Yoga in this wonderful place developing my ability to teach in English and contribute to people's well-being. It was great to practice surf and relax in the hotel Dipper. All this brought me a lot of joy, learning and good connections. I felt it was a privilege to see that stunning landscape everyday and also to stay in the great rooms of the Lodge, because it was almost winter and there weren't many guests. I miss everything... 🩵

During the 5 weeks I was at the hotel, I had the opportunity to experience moments that I will never forget. It was one of the most enriching experiences I've had, the staff is incredible, the surf, the yoga, the hiking, the freedom we had to explore the surroundings, the food, the energy, the sauna and jacuzzi, the good neighbors, the rainbows. Working hours were respected and the entire team is amazing and lovely. I'm so grateful to had this opportunity in my life and I'm so happy to have met the people I spent time with. A true treasure and magical place in the middle of nowhere 😊🤍

My experience at the Lodge was beyond expected! I really enjoyed the weekend work; preparing food for the guests, and afterwards going to the sauna or the pub for a Guiness. During the week, the work is nice and easy. Cleaning the rooms and common areas, wich were really cozy, making the tasks more enjoyable. We had plenty of time to go hiking, running, surfing and paddleboarding. I'll really miss the staff team, the Lodge and Killadoon; wich has an amazing energy that grows into you, the wind, the cold, the sea... each day you feel more connected to the nature, the surroundings, and yourself

I had an amazing time at BigStyle Lodge! The team is super nice and I always felt welcomed. The work hours are well organized and there is a lot of variety in the shifts as well (breakfast, pizza night, housekeeping ect.) If you enjoy staying in a rather rural area as well and spending time in the outdoors, you will definitely have a nice time there. I cant recommend this experience enough!

This was my favourite volunteering experience so far. We had an amazing team and the work was most of the time really fun. The employees of the lodge are super nice and we even got checklists for work which made it really easy to follow along. The experience depends probably a lot on the other volunteers because you spend so much time with them. But the surrounding is beautiful and we were able to go surfing quite a bit. Only thing you should consider while appling: it really is as remote as they say! We usually hitchhiked to the next stores or the cafe once a week.

It was my first volunteering experience and I had a lot of fun. I was able to do activities like surfing, being in contact with nature, relaxing, and appreciating the beautiful place. I also got to visit nearby villages and spend time with local people. The work is not complicated and allows you to have a lot of free time. My English isn't very good, and Ally made me feel welcome and made sure everything was fine. Paco and Griffin are also very nice. I will miss the delicious pizzas. 😋

I am so grateful for this experience!! I loved teaching yoga to the guests and appreciated the freedom I had with creating the classes. The housekeeping and cleaning work is very reasonable, leaving lots of time to explore the beautiful area, surf, connect with the other volunteers, and relax. Thank you so much Ally for organizing this opportunity, and thank you Paco and Griffin for all the work you do! 🤍🏄‍♀️🌊
