We spent 4 weeks at the project. Bill and his family are amazing hosts. The accommodation and the food were amazing. We felt at home the entire time. The working hours are as agreed with plenty of time to see some local sites and have free time.All the students are such a friendly and eager group. The made volunteering very enjoyable. I would 100% recommend to others who are interested in socialising with locals and teaching students.

Bill & the family are amazing, you will always feel welcome and get any help needed whenever. The students are even more friendly than I have expected, so you will learn a lot about their habits and Vietnamese culture. You mostly have free time in the mornings and around noon so you have a lot of time to explore and walk around. It is a really immersive and valuable experience.

Bill and his family will make you feel welcome and at home the second you arrive. It was a lovely experience and I had a lot of fun with them and the students :). Bills mom is a really good cook, so you will never leave that table hungry 😋. Note to Bill : Thank you very much for everything!! Note for future volunteers: You will not regret applying and you will have the best time here;)

I stayed at Bill 's house for 2 weeks. His parents are really nice too bad we could not exchange a lot, language barrier. She is a great cook. I had a wonderful time with the students, from 8 to 42 years old with different levels of English, challenging but really interesting. After few lessons they warmed up and it is getting fun. You usually have classes from 6 to 9 pm every night of the week and some during the day.

I wish I had more time to spend with the entire family! There are no words to express the immense gratitude I feel for meeting and sharing with the entire family. This was my second volunteer experience, every day was different and enriching, I learned a lot about the culture, I loved the students, and of course the family made me feel very welcome. I hope more people come to this place to enjoy this experience as much as I did. Thanks for everything

It was my first time doing the workpackers program. I was a little stressed and I didn't know what to expect but as it turned out, there was nothing to worry about. I can wholeheartedly recommend this experience.❤️ Bill and his family are wonderful and warm people. It was a pleasure to get to know them. When my boyfriend and I were sick, they took care of us, for which I am very grateful. The amount of work was just right and the time with the students was great! Thank you for everything💗I hope we will meet again!

Our volunteering experience at the project-English was truly amazing, Bill and his family made us feel really welcome and created a home-like environment for our stay there. The work was satisfying and the students were keen to learn, very cooperative. Working ours were as agreed upon so we had lots of time to sightsee the city and nearby areas. We also received help from Bill regarding the places worth visiting and went to the countryside with him, which was great. I recommend the experience for everyone looking to have a quality time while making some positive impact by teaching English.

I had such a great time with Bill and his family! I felt really welcomed, and learned so much about Vietnamese life and culture. The work hours were pretty chill, you have enough time to do your own stuff and Bill is always willing to help if anything comes up. And a special thank you for the food!
