The Experience

I'm running some English classes at the moment. Here is some information: - My students are from 5 to 35 years old. - The only reason they come to my place is to improve their speaking skills. - They are very open and eager to learn English by talking and playing games together. All you need to do: - Use basic English to practice Enlgish with them. - Think about some interesting games to play. - Prepare the lessons.

I spent 2 weeks volunteering at the project and had a great time! Bill and his family are so welcoming and kind. I taught students from age 8 to ~40 in groups/one-on-one & in person/online. The topic was provided for group lessons but for one-on-one it was up to you to decide. All the students were so lovely and really wanted to improve their English. The accommodation is near the city centre and a bicycle is also available if you want to explore. Also highly recommended the floating market tour, it was a very cool experience and worth the 5am start! Thanks again Bill for your hospitality 😊

This was an extraordinary experience for me, I really felt welcomed and cared for. Thank you very much Bill and family for all the kindness and generosity during my stay, pity I couldn't stay longer. I highly recommend this project to anyone looking for an English teaching experience in the South of Vietnam. You will meet lovely people, eat gorgeous food, get to know a lovely part of the country and learn a lot about Vietnamese culture. I am.very grateful I had this opportunity. Thank you always.

Bill is such a sweetheart, open to learning and always happy to answer any questions. If you need any recommendations around the city, he's definitely the one to ask! Bill's family took such good care of me that it felt like home ☺️ I'm really going to miss the students, they all welcomed me so warmly. They're dedicated and eager to learn One tip I'd give you is to prepare your classes based on their personalities and interests, it really helps keep them engaged As for the group classes, time flies! They're very participative, but the biggest challenge is their shyness. I highly recommend

This was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't have asked for a better placement. Bill and his family are so welcoming, and the food provided was excellent. Bill also welcomed questions on the local culture which was great to hear a local perspective. The students are kind and eager to learn. Highly recommend this!
