The Experience

I'm running some English classes at the moment. Here is some information: - My students are from 5 to 35 years old. - The only reason they come to my place is to improve their speaking skills. - They are very open and eager to learn English by talking and playing games together. All you need to do: - Use basic English to practice Enlgish with them. - Think about some interesting games to play. - Prepare the lessons.

I had an amazing experience volunteering with Bill at his English center for a month. Bill was supportive, kind and always ready to help whenever I needed guidance with classes or daily life. The teaching experience was itself very rewarding, and the students were lovely to work with. Staying at Bill's home was one of the highlights of my experience. His mom's delicious home cooked meals made me feel loved and cared for throughout my stay. I'm truly thankful for the kindness, hospitality and culture exchange I experienced here. I would recommend this volunteer experience to everyone! ♥️

I just spent two wonderful weeks with Bill and his family! Everyone was so kind and caring, they all made me feel at home. They also showed me a lot about Vietnamese traditions, daily life and food specialties. About the teaching part, I had classes 2-3hours/day during the week and weekends off. Bill usually gives you some materials to help you during class, but you are free to teach however you want. The students were all curious and motivated, so it was always a joy to interact with them in class. It was my first experience with Worldpackers and I couldn't have asked for better 😊

I had a wonderful time at the project School. I had the opportunity to take part in various lessons, both online and in person, with the students, including individual and group sessions. It's truly a great project because it provides real support to local students, helping them improve their English skills so they can use them in life, at work, and for their future opportunities, such as studying or working abroad. I was really happy to be part of this project for a week.

I had a very enriching week volunteering for Bill. The project is well organized, clearly explained, and the exchange feels truly meaningful. I lived with Bill's family and was warmly welcomed into their home and daily life. Teaching the students and interacting with locals was a highlight of the experience and made the cultural exchange truly special. Bill's mom prepared wonderful home-cooked meals every day, adding a lot of warmth to the stay. I highly recommend this authentic, well-structured, and welcoming volunteer experience 🩷🩷🩷

This was by far the best volunteering role I have done. Bill is super nice and caring, you will be living with his family which are also very sweet and his mum cooks delicious food! But the cherry on top was the students, they made me feel like I have been always their friend from the first day we met! They are funny, respectful, and eager to learn. I can't recommend this volunteering more! I hope to see you soon guys ❤️
