I had an amazing experience at the guest house! From the day I arrived, I knew I was going to have a great time. The hours are reasonable and give you plenty of time to explore Osaka. There is so much to do within Osaka prefecture. On your days off you can have fun in a different city. I made tons of new friends. While staying at the hostel you get to interact with other volunteers, international travelers, and even locals. I had awesome times with Takeoさん and Madokaさん as well. Both of them are very accommodating. I truly recommend this experience to anyone willing to do the work (:

Madoka-san and Takeo-san are truly outstanding! It was my first time out of my home country and they both made it feel like home while giving acceptable work hours and tasks. All of the tasks are written out as well so be sure to read them and follow as best you can! But outside of that, all of the travelers and other volunteers are great (if you are willing to socialize a good bit) and they become essentially a second family. I'm really going to miss being here, it was truly an awesome experience! Hope I get to come back someday soon personally, would really recommend volunteering here.

I think the experience depends a lot on the people youre with. madoka san and takeo san are nice and welcoming. we had some food evenings at the hostel and takeo san offered free baseball tickets often. work is easy and reasonable, but you will get called out if something is wrong so do it well haha. overall good opportunity to stay in osaka longer, go on day trips to many places around. if youre considering i recommend it :)

I volunteer for 30 days in the guest house, it's a cool hostel in downtown Osaka, location is top tier, work is okey and always working hours were respected. Takeo the owner and madoka the manager were always nice with me. Good communication, I recomend this place without hesitation,

I really had the best time here at the guest house! I met amazing people that I will never forget, and every night was full of fun and laughter. The work is not difficult at all and very easy to do. The location is great for exploring Osaka and even for trips to nearby cities like Kyoto and Kobe. Madoka and Takeo are incredibly kind, they treated us with sweets and snacks and even gave us tickets to baseball games, which I really enjoyed. Of course, the experience also depends on the people you meet, but if you make the most of it, it's truly unforgettable! Highly recommend :)

Truly a wonderful experience! My time at the guesthouse was full of joy and great people. The tasks and hours were as accorded, the room was simple but comfortable and the location is also pretty nice! It's true that the other volunteers make the experience and it my case… what an experience! I had so much fun and met really cool people, I'll miss them a lot. Takeo and Madoka also made my stay a very pleasant one and were kind enough to invite us to baseball and make homemade meals sometimes.

Our time at the guest house was phenomenal! The work was exactly as described and the expectations were very clear. The hours are very reasonable and gave us plenty of time to explore Osaka and surrounding cities like Nara, Kobe, and Kyoto. Madoka and Takeo also did a wonderful job of helping us feel at home and get to know the area we were staying in. We were initially apprehensive as this was our first Worldpackers experience, but overall the experience was great and we would definitely recommend this to other first-time volunteers!

We had a great time at the guest house! Takeo-san was an incredibly generous and gracious host, and made us feel welcome. The work was fair and exactly as advertised, with clear expectations and communication. The hostel is located in a great area in Osaka, away from some of the more tourist centric areas, but with transit close nearby and accessible, so getting around the city is very easy. The time off provided was more than enough for us to not only explore Osaka but the surrounding cities as well, like Nara, Kyoto, and Kobe. We could not recommend this experience strongly enough!
