Nossa experiência foi cheia de emoções. Começando pelo lado negativo: comunicação bem difícil porque não falam muito inglês, comportamento instável do dono, um pouco de falta de organização na disposição das folgas (desiguais entre os voluntários). O trabalho em si é bem tranquilo, principalmente quando se tem mais pessoas e costumam dar alguns incentivos também para os voluntários!

A cidade de Osaka foi incrível! A estrutura do Hostel é maravilhosa e as tarefas são de 10:00 às 13:30, limpeza essencialmente. 2 dias de folga por semana. A Madoka foi a gerente do Hostel e promoveu várias atividades como Karaoke, almoços, jantares, filmes, sempre muito graciosa e integrativa. Tive um pouco de dificuldade com o anfitrião Takeo que pediu um depósito de 10.000 iens no dia que eu cheguei em casa de eu quebrar alguma regra ou alguma coisa dentro do hostel. Totalmente inesperado. Também não conseguimos nos comunicar muito bem pelas diferenças culturais e de idioma.

I had a very good experience during my volunteer placement; the volunteers are very well received. The rooms are comfortable, and the work isn't difficult. I highly recommend this volunteer opportunity. The hotel is very well located in Osaka.

I loved being part of Osaka Guest House. I met some wonderful people and had amazing experiences. Thanks Takeo and Madoka who is a lovely person; she even bought me a birthday cake! The work is simple and well organized. Ojalá repetir muchas veces este mes en Osaka, por más viajes al Donki juntos 💕

This is my third time coming back here, and it's clearly because of the people. Madoka and Takeo truly care about you and make you feel like part of the family. I'll miss them ❤️ and I promise I'll be back again! The showers work great, the beds are super comfortable with curtains for privacy, and the work is simple and well explained! plenty of time to explore the city and surroundings. Highly recommend!

My experience at the guest house was truly memorable. My friend and I stayed for a long time and met a lot of great volunteers. The tasks were very simple and could easily be done in the stated time, so we always had free afternoons to explore the city. Free days were always respected and schedule was given a month in advance in case any changes needed to be made (they are flexible with that too) Madokaさん and Takeoさん were always very kind with us. They made meals for us, invited us to baseball matches and other events. I really felt appreciated and learned a lot!! ほんとにありがとうございます。

The experience at the guest house was wonderful. Obviously, you have to work hard, but they are flexible if you need anything and do their best to help you. Takeo and Madoka are very nice people. For example, Madoka-san cooked delicious food for us. We also did lots of fun activities and are now big fans of the Hanshin Tigers. However, I must also say that the experience also depends in part on the volunteers you share your stay with, and we were lucky that the majority of them were super friendly. Thanks to all of them. It was a very comfortable place to stay. Thanks for welcoming us.

My experience at the guest house was the best, literally had the best time of my life, the environment and vibe of the place is really cozy and the other volunteers are really welcoming and friendly, keep in mind that you'll make a loooot of friends Now talking about the host Takeo and the manager Madoka, they're super nice people, so welcoming, friendly and they'll always try to make you feel like home, thanks for a lot, definitely I'll be coming back!

I had an amazing experience at the guest house! From the day I arrived, I knew I was going to have a great time. The hours are reasonable and give you plenty of time to explore Osaka. There is so much to do within Osaka prefecture. On your days off you can have fun in a different city. I made tons of new friends. While staying at the hostel you get to interact with other volunteers, international travelers, and even locals. I had awesome times with Takeoさん and Madokaさん as well. Both of them are very accommodating. I truly recommend this experience to anyone willing to do the work (:
