Couldn't have asked for more for my first worldpacker's experience. The shift times were well respected, with a cleaning shift in the morning and a reception shift in the afternoon / night. Busyness would vary between days, depending if alot of people were checking in or out so reception shifts could be a bit quiet at times. Loved meeting other the hostel and travellers, and the hostel was a super cosy environment to do so. Volunteers got groceries and Kosta cooked for us as well - bean soups, paella, greek salad. Also got to go to Meteora on a day off!

Ioannina is very beautiful place to visit! The hostel was cute & very homey and I got to meet many people there. Kostas (the owner) was also super hospitable and he always respected the working hours. Definitely would recommend to visit this place!

I had a really nice time in Ioannina. The work was light and flexible. Kostas, the other volunteers, the nice guests and of course Babis the cat made me feel at home for three weeks that unfortunately went by way too fast. I already miss being there but I know that I'll definitely come back one day. Ευχαριστώ για όλα.

My stay in Ioannina was so much fun! The hostel had a great vibe and everyone there was so cool. The work was chill and there's a lot to do like walk around and shop and also nearby places to go to on your days off.

Staying in Ioannina was a great experience. After the cleaning from 11:30 to 1pm, you have a three and a half hour reception shift. The cleaning is quickly done and is done everyday, so the work isn't too exhausting, the reception hours can get quite boring if no guests arrive, but you are allowed to read or watch something during so it's fine. The people at the hostel were very nice and Kostas was a great and friendly host. :)

I had a lovely time volunteering in Ioannina for three weeks. Kostas was a great host, he always respected working hours and the work itself was really light. He also provided groceries for the volunteers and sometimes even cooked whole meals. As it was low season, I was staying in a regular dorm which was super nice. It was a lot of fun hanging out with the other volunteers, the guests, and cat Babis! I was also able to explore Meteora and Vikos Gorge. I wish all the best to Kostas and his family:)

I had the best time in Ioannina! Kostas is a wonderful host and was very reasonable about working hours as well as cooking delicious meals and recommending things to do in the area. The hostel is so well located and a really great place to meet people. Definitely try and go to the Vikos gorge on your day off! I would really recommend volunteering here.

The hostel is a really nice place to meet other travellers and the atmosphere is always social and homely. Kostas is a good host, communication went well with him and all tasks are explained in detail. The workload is quiet easy, there is one housekeeping shift in the morning and another at reception either directly after until 4.30 or starting from there until 8. Since it is a small hostel, reception can be a little slow, but you can do whatever as long as you have an ear on the doorbell. Food is provided, which was great! Overall a good experience.
