Kosta ( anfitrião )é uma pessoa humilde, alegre e de bem com a vida. A cidade é pequena e tem uma história sobre um ditador que vale apena conhecer um pouco é bem interessante. Pratiquei inglês, aprendi sobre a cultura local,Kostas as vezes faz o jantar bem gostosa a comida grega. Eu saí 2 dias antes do final do meu voluntário. Fiquei bastante dias lá. Acredito que 2 semanas é o suficiente ❤️ atrações locais : castelo, pequena ilha, cave, hiking... Ate ++

Had an amazing time with Kostas! The jobs were easy and still had plenty of free time. He is very laid back and understanding which made things easier! He cooked meals for us to enjoy which was much appreciated and also had good time meeting other travelers staying at the hostel. His cat Babis is also just such nice company. Thank you Kostas for an amazing time!

Kostas was a great host! he has a lot of knowledge on the local culture and the activities to do around the town. The work is easy, 11:30am we start cleaning - this is changing beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming and mopping - until 1pm. Then one volunteer stays at the hostel working reception from 1-4:30, then switch with another volunteer for 4:30-8. He's buys groceries that volunteers are free to use and he also cooks! We had some delicious meals here. On our days off we went to vikos gorge (definitely a must-do) and went to the island on ioannina lake. Overall a great experience

I had an incredible experience! The work was very easy, and in my free time, I was able to visit the whole city, which is very friendly. I especially loved this hostel because it's very easy to meet people, and I met some amazing other volunteers.

Fue mi primera experiencia viajando sola y haciendo un voluntariado, y sin dudas; que Kostas haya sido mi primer anfitrión fue clave para mi. No solamente cumple con cada item que propone en la pagina si no que es una persona que te acompaña en toda tu estadia, te aconseja y no deja que falte nada. Las tareas a realizar son super llevaderas. Sin dudas y si pudiera quiero volver. Gracias Kostas !!

My experience was amazing! Kostas was such a wonderful host and Ionannina is a lovely city. As my first Worldpackers experience it was amazing. Just one thing to consider for other volunteers: you will have a lot of time alone due to the volunteers different working hours. But the city and the area is beautiful so time goes by fast.

I really enjoyed my time in loannina! It's a beautiful town with a calm atmosphere and lots to discover. The tasks were easy and fair and the schedule gave me plenty of time to explore and relax. Kosta, the manager, was very helpful, understanding and accommodating. He made sure everything ran smoothly and was always there if I needed anything. He also provides food, which was a big plus and really appreciated during my stay. I'm very grateful for my experience and for the people I met. Thank you Kosta for making it all so easy and enjoyable!

I had a really great experience volunteering at the hostel in Ioannina. Kostas is very welcoming and accommodating, and the work is simple and the hours are as agreed upon. The work is a good balance of cleaning and reception. Ioannina is really beautiful and I met some very lovely people during my stay. I definitely recommend volunteering here if you get the opportunity.

I had an incredible experience volunteering here. Kostas, his sons and Babis are the kindest and most considerate host you can find. They're amazing people (and cat), always respectful of your time and making sure you feel comfortable. The tasks were simple and very manageable, which left me plenty of time to explore Ioannina and the surrounding areas. Kostas gave great recommendations, including amazing hikes in the national parks around Ioannina and they are all absolutely stunning. I'd recommend this experience to anyone who wants to explore Greece beyond their islands.

Staying in ioannina was definitely one of the best parts of my trip. from the beginning it felt like a safe and homey place. the tasks are simple & it is fun to get in touch with the people arriving at the hostel. spending time with kostas taught me a lot about the local history & the Greek language. I really hope to be back some time! thank you.
