Help in the kitchen of the lunch program for people in need

It was my first experience as wordpackers! I had a great time with the other volunteers. The tasks were simple and clear. There are many ways to help in the kitchen. The cook is very nice but she only speaks German. The house is cozy. The area is not " German" but there are several stores or supermarkets in the area. I recommend this experience because I think it is very important to learn about other cultures and difficult realities like poverty. I grew up a lot here and met other amazing travelers.

The organization gave me a lot and asked very little of me. It gave me a comfortable, private and spacious place to stay, some extra meals, and the opportunity to meet some great people while practicing German. The work is simple and very important to the local community. We had a lot of time to explore the local area or travel to other parts of Germany and Europe. Yannik was kind and made time to help me with things in amongst his usual job, which helped me with settling into Germany. Some previous tenants had been slack with cleaning, but all the volunteers worked together to keep things tidy

This was my first Worldpackers experience and it was amazing. Yannik is very kind, helpful, and respectful to everyone. The volunteer bedrooms are comfortable and so are the living spaces that are shared with the other Worldpacker volunteers. Upon arriving, I was nervous because I don't speak any German, but Mary in the kitchen is very patient and is great at explaining what she needs done each day. The work in the kitchen involved preparing vegetables and meat and also helping serve the meal. the organization is a wonderful place and I would come back in a heartbeat! I recommend volunteering here!

Aprendí mucho y disfruté cada momento en la cocina. Marie, ha sido un verdadero placer trabajar a tu lado. Tu pasión por la cocina es inspiradora, y me encantó aprender de ti. Eres un encanto y una gran maestra. Además, alimentar a los animales fue una de mis actividades favoritas. Conectarme con ellos y ser parte del cuidado diario me hizo muy feliz. This was may first Worldpackers experience, and everything was perfect. Everyone was always kind and helpful. The work is actually really rewarding, you meet local people and is fun have a little chat to know everyone story. I highly recommend this experience!

The experience at the organization is undoubtedly one I will always remember for all the incredible moments I shared with the people I met. Janik was always grateful and willing to support our improvement ideas, ensuring that we had a cozy place in the apartment where we lived with the other volunteers. Volunteering at the organization has been a wonderful experience! I was so lucky to end up here! The whole team has been amazing and always willing to help. The work we do at the community kitchen truly feels like it makes a difference, which makes it even more special. Mary is always incredibly patient with us, making sure we understand everything. Yannik and Kai have also been extremely kind and welcoming. Plus the accommodation is very comfortable!! Highly recommended!! You won't regret being part of it 🩷✨

**A Heartwarming Experience at the organization** Staying at the organization was truly special, as I had the opportunity to volunteer and cook for people in need. The host was incredibly kind and supportive, creating a warm and welcoming environment. This experience was both fulfilling and inspiring, and I can't wait to return someday.

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I really liked it! I think sometimes the communication with the kitchen and with the volunteers could have been better, but the work itself is really rewarding because you have a true social impact and there's a lot of free time you can fill up however you like. The accomodation itself has all the things necessary to live there and having a communal kitchen means you can see the other volunteers outside of work too and connect with them. I would recommend this experience to others
