Minha experiência em Duisburg foi muito boa. Tem um lugar legal pra dormir. O trabalho é bem tranquilo, da pra aproveitar bastante nas horas vagas. Pra quem quer aprender alemão o lugar é ideal, pois são poucas as pessoas aqui que falam inglês.. Super recomendo.

A experiência neste voluntariado foi excelente. As instalações para voluntários são super cômodas, os horários de trabalho são respeitados e a equipe é muito respeitosa. Yannik se mostra aberto para ouvir e auxiliar se necessário, Kay sempre bem humorado e disposto a ajudar, e Mary é realmente um amor, muito paciente com os voluntários, especialmente com o fato de que a maioria não fala alemão, e ela apesar de só falar alemão, se faz entender, e tudo sai bem ao final. Indico este voluntariado sim, e espero poder voltar um dia. :)

A experiência em a organização foi realmente incrível. Tudo muito organizado e bem explicado. O trabalho é muito tranquilo e você tem muito tempo livre para aproveitar da maneira que quiser. A Mary, cozinheira, é uma querida. E, ainda que fale apenas alemão, ela é paciente para te explicar as coisas. O Yannik e o Cai também me receberam super bem e me auxiliaram em tudo. O casa é bem grande e a cozinha e o quarto privado são bem equipados. Também pude conhecer outros viajantes voluntários que foram muito amigáveis e foi muito divertido. Só agradecer por esse tempo em a organização.

Foi uma experiência incrível! É um lugar respeita a todos independente de gênero, nacionalidade ou classe social. Tudo foi muito bem explicado antes da viagem. O trabalho é muito fácil, flexível e prazeroso. Desde o primeiro dia que cheguei senti-me parte do grupo e também que as pessoas faziam questão de me ver bem e me incluir. É uma boa oportunidade para quem quer fazer um trabalho social com grande impacto na comunidade e também ter um tempo para viajar, já que o horário de trabalho é muito flexível. Yannik e Kay são muito atenciosos. Marry (cozinheira) é um amor. Vou sentir saudades!

Volunteering at the organization was an unforgettable experience. The accomodation has everything a Worldpacker would want. Yannik and Kai are friendly and make sure that you are perfectly comfortable. Duisburg is well connected to all the main train stations in Germany so you can explore as much as you want. The work that is done for the community here is heart warming and it feels great to be part of that. Mary only speaks German but has had many volunteers from all over the world and has become an expert at communicating with gestures and body language. Being part of this truly a privilege.

This volunteer experience is incredible, I highly recommend it, especially if you're just starting out. All the conditions were met, and from Duisburg you can easily visit various parts of Germany. Marie is a great cook, and if you're looking to practice your German, it will be perfect for you.

Really great! fulfilling work which is easy to pick up. Mary (the main cook) is very helpful and patient. Yannik and Kai (the managers) facilitate your logistical needs. the guests who come in are generally nice and appreciative, and you feel great helping ppl. the living conditions are great - with a lot of room and private rooms for sleeping. the location is good for travel, it's about 20 mins from the main station, and from there you can get to dusseldorf, koln, munster, dortmund, bonn all within 1hr, or places like frankfurt, koblenz, mannheim, hannover, belgium, netherlands within 2-3hrs.

La organización fue mi primer voluntariado y una experiencia realmente transformadora. La ubicación es perfecta: la parada de tranvía está a pocos metros y en 20 minutos se llega a la estación central, así que pude conocer muchos lugares y ciudades. Mary es maravillosa y cocina delicioso. Yannik y Kay son anfitriones excepcionales, siempre atentos y dispuestos a ayudar. Me llevo recuerdos muy especiales. Volvería sin dudarlo ♥️♥️

This was my first volunteering experience with Worldpackers, and it was truly rewarding. The work is simple, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Despite the language difference, communicating with Mary was very easy, she is patient and kind, and she always finds a way to make sure we understand the tasks in the kitchen and when serving food. You also have plenty of free time to explore nearby places. Kai and Yannik were very friendly in showing the house and the project, where I was very happy to contribute. I also appreciate their quick response and action regarding a delicate situation.
