I had a good and nice experience, starting with the owner and the kitchen managers, also with the work team. A comfortable and cozy place, and a beautiful city. The schedule is good and relaxed at times and at other times with a lot of work. Delicious the school. Some details in the restaurant and service, but that were suggested to the owner and listened to in a good way, since living these experiences we will always find details that we do not like, but I prefer to see the opportunity to contribute and add so that the next volunteers that arrive feel better.

The school is a great place to immerse yourself in the vegan culture, the chefs are very talented and personable and Alistair is a great host. The city has a bit of everything and the location is unbeatable.

Very fine experience, The host is used to have a phone call with you many months before starting the experience and when you arrive you start soon to work without waiting some days. The staff is international and this gives you the chance to practice your english .

Not much to say that other reviewers haven't already! the school is a very comfortable and fun place to volunteer. Ruth, Milena, and Alistair are very welcoming and kind hosts. Apart from the good environment, I also learned quite a bit about cooking for large groups and, in particular, serving. Work was well balanced in that volunteers got a mix of busy and relaxed shifts. The other volunteers were really cool and great to work with, and I loved getting to know people from different parts of the world. For my first time volunteering abroad, this was a great experience.

Being in the school was a great opportunity to learn a bit about vegan/vegetarian cousine and meet amazing people from different places. I could practice my English and improve some skills. The tasks are not hard but sometimes the place can be really crowded which requires us a bit more of effort. I enjoyed every moment there so thank you very much for the opportunity and hope to see you all again at some point. Best wishes :))

I had a great time at the school. The two months I stayed almost flew by. Working with Chala, Milena and Ruth was really great, everyone is super friendly, patient and understanding to someone completely new to the kitchen. Most of the shifts were very fun, although some shifts consisted of just cleaning different areas/rooms of the restaurant or stock rooms, which was always done only by the volunteers. The work is not that hard and you get in the flow of the kitchen pretty quickly. Overall I really enjoyed my first ever Worldpackers experience here a lot!

The work is fun and you can definitely learn a lot about cooking. The work can be hard and more then expected but it's mostly fun!!Ruth, Milena and Chala created a nice working atmosphere which is pretty well organised. The team is nice and welcoming. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The place is well located and the room you are staying in is fine.

Working at the school was a good way to improve my cooking skills - you get to learn new vegan recipes and try them out for yourself. It's well located, and only a short train/bus ride away from many cool cities in Western Europe. The workload was a bit demanding at times, but either way I would still recommend to someone who's interested in learning how it feels like to work in a restaurant. Hosts are respectful and the pocket money provided each week is a plus!
