Minha experiência em the hostel Mansioni foi mais que especial, o hostel fica super bem localizado, perto da praia' comércios e vida noturna. Ale e Virginia são pessoas maravilhosas e me fizeram sentir como parte da família. O trabalho é simples e temos bastante tempo para aproveitar Puerto Rico e seu encantos. Estou partindo com o coração apertado, mas feliz por tudo o que vivi neste lugar e por ter conhecido pessoas maravilhosas aqui. Obrigada Charles, Ale, Virginia, Frida, luke, James, Anna, Paige, Hanna, Fabian and amizing guests.

I had the most amazing time at the hostel! Ale was a wonderful manager and friend and always made sure everyone knew what local events were going on throughout the week! The vibes of the hostel and the rest of the staff made this place unforgettable from Tuesday nights in to bar crawls on the weekends, I truly never had a dull day. The hours were a little long but the work was simple tasks that kept you busy throughout the shift. Still, I had plenty of time off to explore the island, hang with lots of cool guests, enjoy local events and have the BEST time in El Yunque! 10/10 would recommend the hostel!!

Can't express enough how much I enjoyed my time here. For all of the animal lovers out there, this place is heaven. Spent a lot of my time there with kittens & the best roommate I've ever had, adorable, sweet Pina :) It was a pleasure meeting the owner, as well as working with the manager, Alex. He was an incredible manager to work for. Great communication, scheduling, and informing us of local events. I will never forget the opportunity he gave me to go to the Yunque on my day off; it was an experience I will never forget. Feel blessed to have had the opportunity to work here.

Great experience at the hostel with Ale! He's a great manager - made me feel very welcome and included. Would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone looking to volunteer in Puerto Rico. Hours and tasks are very reasonable and the accommodation was great. I felt I had a lot of time to go explore San Juan on my days off. Thanks Ale!

Coming to Puerto Rico and helping at the hostel was one of the best decisions I've done. All fellow staff members vibed uniquely, which made me felt amazing every day. Ale makes sure that everyone is having a great time. And the friendships I made there feel like they can last forever! Specially with Tyrell. Even if housekeeping sounds exhausting, the schedule offers you a lot of free time for you to explore San Juan (although I recommend going beyond there) or just chill at the hostel. There are even some days when time flies while you're having fun working. I'm definitely coming back soon! :D

I've stayed as a guest in the hostel a handful of times but never as a volunteer. Luckily I was given an opportunity to be part of the team. Charles is a good communicator and fair when making the work week schedule. Ale is very helpful not only for anything related to work but also anything related to the island. I like how Ale goes above and beyond not only for guest but specifically for volunteers. The thing you will notice right away working here is how big the hostel really is. I recommend wearing comfortable shoes. Overall great experience. Definitely would do it again 👍🏾

I had a wonderful time at the hostel. It's a special place where everyone feels like family. Ale is so welcoming; he goes out of his way to do things to support the staff and loves introducing people to the local culture. I also grew very close with the other co-hosts, they became a safe space for me. The work involves a lot of cleaning and can be tiring but for only 3 days a week it's a very fair exchange to get the rest of the time to explore & go on excursions. I would 100% go back and do it all over again, and for much longer than 1 month next time! Gracias por todo, the hostel <3

My time at the hostel was absolutely amazing! The experience was incredible from the first day. The work is very easy and straightforward, plus you get lots of time free to enjoy the beauty of PR. Ale was the best manager and he was always making sure everyone was having a great time and even took us on tours to see some great spots! The hostel is very well maintained and is located on a nice area, super close to the beach. If you are thinking of applying to the hostel this is your sign to do it! Always grateful for the opportunity to be at the hostel and make so many memories & friends 🤍
