My experience at the the hostel was very enriching. I had the opportunity to meet some incredible people who I won't forget. The staff are very welcoming and attentive, the schedules are respected and the work is as described. If you want to visit London I recommend this hostel and I wish you as much luck as I had in working with other exceptional volunteers.

I am so happy to have been in Sandeman because I have shared a fantastic time with all the team and volunteers. Jacob, Laurent and Carlota are really kind and always happy to help. Specially Jacob, always ready to make a joke! I was in a housekeeping position, which it was easy to learn and to do every day. I think it's the position that needs more coordination with all the members of the team, as we are 4 people working together and dividing the tasks. In other positions, they work more alone in their own rhythm. In short, I recommend it 100 % ! I hope to repeat one day. Great location too!

Couldn't have asked for a better first-time volunteering experience. I felt welcomed since the moment I arrived, and was lucky to meet incredible people. My shift was breakfast which was easy and allowed me to have time to explore the city and more. Thank you Laurent, Jacob, Carlota and other staff members for being kind and always nice.

It was one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life. I was able to practice my English and made friends from different countries. The location is great and is close to absolutely everything. The work is calm and taught in advance, Jacob provides hygiene equipment and training for emergencies, as well as bringing together all the volunteers for games, which is great for socializing. I just have to thank Jacob and the other employees and friends who were part of all of this.

One of the best experiences of my life. As cliché as it sounds but I've met life long friends that I'll never forget. The work itself was fairly easy as long as you don't mind working. Meals provided are excellent, and portions are huge. Location is pretty good nearby a lot of shops and restaurants, as well as a few steps away from hyde park. I'll never forget this place or experience.

My time at Sanderman-Allen was incredible. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and always willing to help. The work was very easy and the hours were doable. The other volunteers made my time so enjoyable, creating life long friendships. The hostel is located quite central to all the major attractions in London so that was an added bonus. Sanderman-Allen felt like a home away from home and I am going to miss it a lot. Thank you all for everything!

The experience at the hostel was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't be happier. The team was always helpful and friendly, the hours are respected, the work is easy and you have plenty of free time to explore the city. The location is great, there are two tube lines within 2 minutes and bus stops and you are literally right next to Hyde Park. I met a lot of people and made some good friends. There were no real downsides and I would have liked to stay longer, I felt at home. I would absolutely recommend it.
