I really enjoyed my time in the hostel, the staff is really nice and welcoming 🫶🏻 The schedule hours are flexible, and the work is easy to do. Perhaps I was expecting more "hostel ambient", still was super nice experience, the hostel was so near to the city center and there are a lot of beautiful towns near to visit!!

I loved the experience, all the staff girls and colleagues are great, the work schedules are very flexible, they have no problem making changes or whatever you want. They made me feel at home for 3 weeks. The only thing I was expecting was a bit more of a volunteer atmosphere, there were only two of us. But it was also very worth it!! I will be back.

The hostel was in a great location and facilities were clean. The job tasks were clear and didn't usually take too much energy. I had plenty of free time to explore the city and to also visit cities outside of Zagreb. The girls were nice, and they gave recommendations on what to do and see! I sometimes felt a bit lonely as there weren't many volunteers, but other than that it was a great experience!

Me he sentido muy cómoda social y físicamente en el hostal. Todo estaba siempre muy limpio y ordenado, podías sentirte como en casa. El personal super agradable y amable. Hice amistades locales que seguiremos el contacto y seguramente nos volvamos a ver :D. Las tareas eran sencillas y se cumplían las horas, a veces ni llegaba a hacer todas las horas, pues apenas había clientes alojados y el hotel estaba medio vacío. Tenía mucho tiempo libre para visitar diferentes pueblos de Croacia. Para ser mi primer voluntariado, sin duda fue una gran experiencia y que recomiendo. Feliz y agradecida

The hostel was my first volunteer experience and I had a really great time there. The hostel is located in a very quiet and central place where you can easily walk to all the places of interest. The girls at reception are the best🥹🫶 they make you feel at home from day one and I loved that! The housekeeping tasks are nothing out of the ordinary and normally you work with 2 to 4 people besides yourself to make it more bearable. The only "but" is that the volunteer room is right next to a classroom and the kids are a bit noisy in the mornings but it's not the hostel's fault.

Catalina is a extremly friendly and kind girl. She was a great addition to our housekeeping with her cleaning skills and positive energy. Catalina did all her tasks thoroughly without any complaints. Big recommendation for any facility that is looking for a hardworking volunteer and a friend.

I had a good time at the hostel! The whole staff is very welcoming and I was lucky to have stayed at the same time as other amazing volunteers ! The shifts were pretty easy and you could sometimes finish early. The nightshifts are easier than the dayshift and allow you to see more of the city. I do have to mention however that I was a bit disappointed by the volunteer rooms because we had to walk three flights of stairs to get to a bathroom and for some reason there was a school for high schoolers next to the volunteer room so sleeping past 8 is impossible. There were also no lockers.

It was my first experience with worldpackers, at first I thought I would connect with a lot of people, make a lots of friends and interact with more volunteers. But I believe I was just unlucky, when I arrived a volunteer was leaving. And when I was about to leave, another volunteer arrived. So we did not have time to create bonds. If you want to make friends, you need to give the first step, otherwise the guests will think you are a regular cleaning lady and even sometimes ignore you. The girls from the staff were amazing.

The team at the hostel are all really kind and welcoming. My working hours were respected and communicated well. The tasks were simple and straight forward. I got the opportunity to da bunch of travel on my days off which was amazing. The hostel isn't as social as I would have liked it to be and I found it hard to connect with other travellers. This is especially important to me as I'm backpacking for most of this year. Zagreb is a really beautiful city with heaps of coffee shops and parks so I really enjoyed my time chilling in Zagreb.
