My experience at the hostel was wonderful! This was my first volunteering and I couldn't have asked for better!!! Niamh is a big-hearted person, always kind and helpful. During my volunteering I did the hostel cleaning for 2 weeks and the other 2 weeks I worked at the reception. Both tasks taught me a lot! The atmosphere in the common room was always pleasant and cosy, I felt at home. Westport is a lovely town, very lively both day and night. If you are thinking of applying don't think twice, the hostel and Niamh are special! And you will meet wonderful people from all over the 🌎

I’m so sorry I missed the review window for Maya . Maya is a 5 star volunteer. She is one of the kindest , sweetest person I have ever met. She is very thorough in her work and she is fluent in English, Spainish , French . She worked both in housekeeping and reception. She is very diligent and hardworking. She did each task perfectly. She is also very friendly and social. She made many friends while she was here and we all cried to see her go. I highly recommend Maya to other hosts . You will be lucky to have her volunteer for you!!!! 💚 sending love from Ireland

My experience at the hostel has been absolutely wonderful! Niamh is amazing and so kind and she'll make you feel very welcome. It's a great place to meet new people and make great connections, the other volunteers were amazing and really make you feel part of the team, I'm very thankful for the experience. The people in Westport are very kind and it's an amazing place to hang out after finishing the work. The work is not to much and you'll have enough free time to explore the area. I highly recommend the hostel!

Was my second time doing volunteer at the hostel and I have no words to say how special that place is. And, of course, is special because of the people there. Niahm is my Queen, is amazing work with her, talk to her, spend time with her, listen her histories and everything. All the staff team are friendly. The hostel is amazing. A really nice place to be. You'll never get bored, definitely!! Living there could change your life, in a better way, for sure =) I fell blessed to have that opportunity <3

My volunteering at the hostel was my first volunteering experience and i couldn't have dreamed better ! Everyone (staff and other volunteers) here is really nice and easygoing. They made my stay an incredible experience, and i am grateful that I met them! Also, the amount of work is truly fair, it gives time to visit great places, other cities, etc. so it is very cool. Thank you so much 🫶

I absolutely loved my experience at the hostel! Niamh was such a caring and generous host who ensured that everyone felt comfortable and supported! The other volunteers were so much fun and the environment was one of respect and positivity! The town of Westport, although small, is lively and a great place to engage with locals. I would highly recommend this experience to other volunteers!

Niamh is a wonderful host, always a friendly face. I was here during the down season, so the work was minimal but easy and Niamh's expectations were realistic. Westport is a lovely town, so much to see and do. There were a few other volunteers too, so there's many lovely people to meet

It's was a very cool experience, it was my first time volunteering and it was awesome. I stayed in the hostel for a month and I was able to meet a lot of nice people and they made my staying there so fun. The work at the hostel isn't too hard and you'll have plenty of time to explore Westport and the area.

It was my first experience of volunteering and I really enjoyed it. The work is easy and you have lots of free time to enjoy the surroundings of Westport. The team was helpful and nice, working with the other volunteers was a great experience!

I had an amazing time at the hostel! All the volunteers are very nice and welcoming, and the work is not too difficult and very consistent. Westport is a lovely town, and there is lots of beautiful places nearby to explore.
