My stay at the hostel was great! Niamh, the owner, is one of the kindest, sweetest and most caring people ever! Also, she encourages you to learn English and practise it all the time. The tasks were simple, making beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen, typical hostel tasks. The atmosphere is great and the receptionists are wonderful as well! As a part of Ireland, if you come here bring a raincoat because you can always get caught in the rain 😂. Thanks Niamh 🖤

This was my first time with Worldpackers. It has been a wonderful experience. I have felt at home. The other girls we shared with during my stay there were truly friends. The work was quite good, the schedules communicated to me were fully met. We were treated like one of the house, without distinction from those of the clients when it came to using the common rooms. Westport is a beautiful small town that has everything. I loved it, I would repeat and I totally recommend that you volunteer at the hostel.

The hostel is a great place to stay in the centre of Westport, the other volunteers are really supportive and fun to work with and Niamh is an amazing and caring host, which makes it a really nice environment. The town is really beautiful and charming. You can walk around and explore what's nearby but if it's rainy I found the options quite limited. The pubs are so much fun with live music on and it's always lively at night. Thanks so much Niamh 💗💗💗

Beautiful experience! It is a very nice volunteer service, very organized, so the tasks become simple, you work with a great team of volunteers and it is very fun. Niamh is very nice, always willing to help us and share with us like all the receptionists.

My time volunteering in the hostel has been a great experience. First of all the team was amazing and uplifting, it was so easy to fit in and make connections. Everyone supports eachother and doing the work together is honestly a lot of fun. The work itself was also really doable and the schedule is respected. I often had time left to explore Westport and surroundings, which I definitely recommend everyone to do. Westport is such a charming and fun town! Lastly, Niamh herself is also a great host. She is really involved with the hostel and is very fun to chat with! 💕💕

My experience at the hostel was wonderful! This was my first volunteering and I couldn't have asked for better!!! Niamh is a big-hearted person, always kind and helpful. During my volunteering I did the hostel cleaning for 2 weeks and the other 2 weeks I worked at the reception. Both tasks taught me a lot! The atmosphere in the common room was always pleasant and cosy, I felt at home. Westport is a lovely town, very lively both day and night. If you are thinking of applying don't think twice, the hostel and Niamh are special! And you will meet wonderful people from all over the 🌎

I’m so sorry I missed the review window for Maya . Maya is a 5 star volunteer. She is one of the kindest , sweetest person I have ever met. She is very thorough in her work and she is fluent in English, Spainish , French . She worked both in housekeeping and reception. She is very diligent and hardworking. She did each task perfectly. She is also very friendly and social. She made many friends while she was here and we all cried to see her go. I highly recommend Maya to other hosts . You will be lucky to have her volunteer for you!!!! 💚 sending love from Ireland

My experience at the hostel has been absolutely wonderful! Niamh is amazing and so kind and she'll make you feel very welcome. It's a great place to meet new people and make great connections, the other volunteers were amazing and really make you feel part of the team, I'm very thankful for the experience. The people in Westport are very kind and it's an amazing place to hang out after finishing the work. The work is not to much and you'll have enough free time to explore the area. I highly recommend the hostel!

Was my second time doing volunteer at the hostel and I have no words to say how special that place is. And, of course, is special because of the people there. Niahm is my Queen, is amazing work with her, talk to her, spend time with her, listen her histories and everything. All the staff team are friendly. The hostel is amazing. A really nice place to be. You'll never get bored, definitely!! Living there could change your life, in a better way, for sure =) I fell blessed to have that opportunity <3
