My first volunteering experience and it was more than I could have hoped for. Each staff member welcomes you with open arms and becomes more friend than coworker during your stay. The hostel could not be located more central and everything is just a few steps away. I would definitely recommend to go there!! I will forever remember my time in Lisbon and dearly miss them.

I loved my time here! One month that felt like a week for the amazing thing i spent there. Forever gratefully with Magda for everything, and also for the people i met during my stay. I will never forget you all. Writing this from mu bus haha, i already miss you all!!!

I had a wonderful experience at Lisbon the hostel! The hostel is perfectly located and the staff is extremely friendly! Having access to the sister hostel is a big advantage and makes the experience even more special! I would totally recommend volunteering at this hostel :)

I stayed at the sunset hostel and really enjoyed my stay. There are some stuff that were unexpected. The rooms of the volunteers are not so good as they don't have windows and the beds shift are a bit hard for one person, I wouldn't recommend if you have back pain. Overall, the host was flexible and I really liked interacting with the stuff. We are a lot of volunteers which is fun and the location together with th terrace is amazing.

I had the most amazing time at the hostel; I can only recommend it from the bottom of my heart.💚 I have the great privilege of saying that I did not only find a place like home, but also friends that I now consider close family. Volunteering at Sunset the hostel for one month was truly an amazing experience. You get to meet a lot of people, learn new skills, and immerse yourself in an international atmosphere while working a reasonable number of hours per week. Having several days off in a row gives you the opportunity to explore other parts of Portugal. The staff is really cool and makes you feel welcome from the very first minute you're there. Sharing this adventure with fellow volunteers will give you lifelong memories, lots of laughs, and lasting friendships. Thank you Sunset

Volunteering at LDH for nearly 2 months was incredible . The location is unbeatable, and the team is so friendly. I worked ~20h/week, usually 2–3 days in a row, which gave me time to explore all Portugal .Huge thanks to Magda for her support and kindness. I met amazing volunteers and guests who became friends. If you're looking for a volunteer opportunity where you can socialize, explore Lisbon, and be part of an amazing team, I truly recommend. In general, it was a fantastic experience. I'm really thankful for it. Hopefully, we'll meet again one day))) Love&Peace

I stayed in Lisbon the hostel, but I feel like I can call it home now. Since the day I arrived I've been welcomed with open arms, the team made sure the welcoming energy stayed and they always checked in with me and my day. There are four different shifts, some harder than the other, but all fun! I would recommend this place to anyone open to learn and searching for a good time. Special thanks to the other volunteers for reminding me how effortlessly genuine friendships can start. I will come back for sure!!

I had at very good time at the hostel. The work is easy and not that much. If you're looking for an opportunity to explore Lisbon while not working to much, this is the place for you.
