La experiencia ha sido y es maravillosa, son pocos los lugares que puedo decir que siento como si estuviera en casa…. Me llevo en mi corazón a las personas que trabajan aquí y a los voluntarios, que no solo me abrieron las puertas del Hostel sino de su corazón. Disfrutar de noches de baile, de comida, de cine, de cultura, de juegos. Además de tener una ubicación perfecta en el centro para poder movilizarse a cualquier lado, con metro, tren, autobús l…. ☺️ lo recomiendo mucho… Los amo y gracias

Fue una experiencia súper agradable y recomiendo mucho este lugar. El staff es súper familiar y realmente me sentí cómoda. La ubicación es genial, tenés todo a tu alcance, tren, metro y ferry. Gracias por la buena onda de todos. Voy a extrañar mucho esta casita🌹☺️

Mi experiencia en el Hostal fué muy buena al inicio, las instalaciones, la ubicación son geniales. Los demás voluntarios y los huéspedes fueron súper amables y pasamos muchos momentos lindos, los llevo en el corazón. Las tareas a desarollar no son difíciles, respetaron la cantidad de horas acordadas. Desafortunadamente la falta de comunicación interna entre los mismos empleados y el jefe inmediato causó un malentendido en la realización de mis actividades, por lo cual ellos decidieron terminar con el lapso de tiempo acordado sin permitir una negociación. Fuera de eso, el hostal es increíble!

I enjoyed my time at Sunset the hostel. The work was clear and exactly as described. I found the party vibes manageable as a non-drinker because it was a quiet time of year. A special thank you to the managers, Sonia and Margarita. the receptionists, Fred, Pedro, Albano were excellent to work alongside. The nighttime receptionists that I met upon occasion were lovely. Housekeeping are very friendly and supportive. I felt I received a lot of positive feedback. The maintenance crew were also helpful and welcoming. The location is ideal for living as a local or as a tourist!

I had an amazing experience volunteering here! Staff and fellow volunteers were all incredible. There is plenty of time to explore Lisbon and engage in social activities.One of the biggest highlights was the pub crawls🍸 The opportunity to visit other the hostel is great. The hours are very fair and most of the tasks are easy and fun. I can recommend this place to everyone who enjoys a social atmosphere!

My month at Sunset was a truly wonderful experience. The bonds you make with the fellow volunteers, at both the hostel, in combination with the work/life balance is the recipe for an unforgettable stay! I would also say, despite not being a huge fan of making beds, that the tasks at hand were both manageable and fair :)

This was my first Volunteering experience abroad and to sum it up: It was amazing! Working hours and tasks are super fair. Being at the reception and welcoming all the friendly guests doesn't even feel like work. The staff as well as other volunteers from all over the world fast became friends. I had a lot of free time, which I filled with exploring the city (hostel is located in the center), relaxing at the hostel or having a good time with the group. Thinking about all the memories we made always shapes a smile on my face. Definitely a big fat recommendation! Thank you, the hostel family:)

Had the best month at Sunset! Met the best people, saw constant beauty in the best city, and got to enjoy it all from a welcoming home! Loved all the employees and all my volunteers. Especially appreciated all my lovely receptionists Ruben, Fred, Albano, Pedro, and Natasha! Will always be glad that Lisbon was my home for a short time, and definitely will visit again!

Genuinely the best experience ever!! Made incredible friendships with the not only the volunteers but also the amazing staff. Huge shout out to Albano, Fred, Pedro, and of courseee my favourite ever Ruben <3 extended my stay another month because of the incredible people I've met here. Responsibilities are relatively easy & hours are flexible and respected. Highly recommend to anyone!

I had an amazing experience volunteering at Lisbon the hostel! The location couldn't be better, the atmosphere is super friendly, and the team made me feel at home from the very first day. The tasks were easy and fair, and I always had enough free time to explore Lisbon and enjoy the city. It was such a great environment to meet people from all over the world and learn new things. I'm really grateful for these two months — thank you for everything! <3
