El hostal the hostel es muy acogedor y siempre hay un buen ambiente entre los huéspedes allí. Mis dos semanas ahí pasaron rapidísimo porque siempre tuvimos planes con las otras voluntarias o por descubrir la cuidad y sus ofertas culturales. Y en general San Cristóbal es una cuidad dónde me sentí a gusto. Sobre el trabajo en el hostal: está bastante diverso entre los diversos turnos. A mí me gustó particularmente el de la mañana porque puedes conectar con los huéspedes mientras les das el desayuno. La comida del hostel es muy rica y de qualidad, no olvides de inscribirte por la cena!

It was a great experience to have had the chance to meet and share some time with Sophie. She's a great person and always willing to help and support the team with all of the different activities we have. All the staff and our guests felt very happy and comfortable with her around, so we definitely recommend her to any host. Thanks Sophie for all of your help and hope to see you some other time again. The hostel is really nice and big, the volunteers' dormitory is correct and the team is great! it's a very good place to socialize and the work is easy (reception or breakfast service + bed). on the other hand 5h30 of work per day without lunch included while the guests also have 2 meals it's a shame, no real discount on the tours, in short... the deal seems a little unbalanced given the advantages already offered to customers

This was our first time volunteering in a hostel and it was a really good experience! The hostel itself is really nice and there are a lot of activities going on. It was well organised in terms of the work - I volunteered with my girlfriend and each day we swapped activities - reception, breakfast/dinner shift and cleaning rooms. It was 5.5 hours of work (busier than I expected). It was good to practice our Spanish by working with the local Mexican people who work in the hostel. There wasn't too many volunteers when we were there which was a pity! I got quite sick so sadly had to leave early:(

The hostel is a great hostel to volunteer, had a good time and made a lot of new friends. The tasks are simple and you know what is expected from you as volunteer.

Working at the hostel was one of the best travelling experience ive been through. Staff, voluunteer were so nice, respectful and welcoming for me. I definitely recommand this place to volunteer if you go to san Cristobal de las casas. Its a place i felt like home and i would come back anytime!! Thank you so much for the opportunity!

Disfruté tanto mi experiencia, que hasta extendí mi estadía en 2 ocasiones, el hostal tiene instalaciones muy amenas, personal de planta muy amable y un anfitrión muy atento; colaborar con el hostel ha sido una experiencia muy grata, las 25 horas semanales se cumplen en actividades y horarios rotativos, el desayuno y la cena está muy rica, y sí se puede acceder a todos los beneficios que ofrece el perfil. Me sentí muy cómodo en mi estancia en San Cristóbal! El personal es encantador. El entorno apacible, y además es un hostel muy dinámico. Con muchas actividades! El voluntariado en sí es cómodo también, y hablando con el responsable, todo pudo ir como esperaba e incluso mejor! Daniel es flexible! Repetiría encantado!

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue maravillosa en todo sentido. Conocí gente increíble y muy generosa. Las tareas fueron sencillas y siempre hubo comunicación de parte del staff. Los beneficios que te dan como voluntario son generosos. Definitivamente regresaría y recomendaría ampliamente este lugar. Encontré muy buena vibra y un lugar que me recibió como casa 🧡🌸🌟

Excelente experiencia en el hostal. Los anfitriones Alex, Daniel y todo el staff (Carlos, Temo, Borre, Diana, Sophie, Lili, Marcos, Jose Luis,...) me trataron muy bien desde el principio hasta el final. Los trabajos son sencillos y se respetan los horarios. Repetiría sin duda!
