The weeks I spent on the hostel were essential to feel the taste of life in the south of Italy. The staff and the other volunteers build a real family, where everyone helps each other and you can really feel how collaborative a team can be. The tasks are pretty easy and, depending on the shift, fast to be finished. One of the highlights of the experience is Antonio, the supervisor! Always lovely with every single person, he tought me a lot about speaking Italian and the fantastic food he used to prepare everyday. I'm grateful for all I learned and the moments that we shared!

Volunteering at the hostel was a crazy experience, the people are really family and you will definitely eat pasta and drink wine every day. The hostel is really far from the beaches and access becomes a little difficult after the summer, but there is always someone to take the trains with you. Guests come from all over the world, which is great for practicing other languages, they are also very lively and the parties help us get to know each other better. I'm going to miss the hostel.

My experience in Italy was one of the most incredible I've ever had. Alessio is an incredible host, he always listened to us and helped a lot. The people who live there are very welcoming and the volunteers who were with me were absolutely incredible. The work was peaceful and every night we got together to eat together and with the guests too. We called ourselves Hotel California and everyone who arrived was warmly welcomed as part of a family. I recommend this hostel a thousand times to volunteer and I will definitely return to Lecce to visit everyone and the hostel.

This was my first volunteering experience and it was amazing. The hostel is really nice and has a nice atmosphere and the staff and Alessio are such nice people. They definitely all make you feel welcome and they are always willing to help if needed. The work was very simple and easy to learn and I had a lot of free time to go visit all the lovely places in Puglia.

My volunteering in the hostel was absolutely wonderful. The tasks were easy, hours of work were nice. The hostel itself is very clean, spacious and comfortable. Alessio is an amazing manager and friend. All the stuff was helpful and enjoyable. What can I say, it felt like home!

As my first volunteering experience, I can say everything was perfect. Alessio is an such an amazing host and kind person, he was always there in case I needed anything. The working hours are very chill and the work is easy, but what I loved the most was meeting new people everyday and making friends all around the world. I enjoyed it so much that I extended my volunteering, and Alessio was very welcoming about it. 10/10, would go back in a heartbeat! It truly felt like a home away from home ❤️

I had a wonderful time at the hostel. The work was really easy and quick to do. The hostel is very clean and is super equipped. You always find fast connection and are welcomed with open arms. The area of Puglia is just fantastic to spend a month there!

La experiencia ha sido de las más enriquecedoras que he tenido pues he logrado mejorar mis habilidades sociales y de trabajo en equipo, asi también he aprendido más de la cultura italiana. Alexio es una persona muy amable, alegre y siempre dispuesto a ayudar en lo que necesites. el ambiente en el hostel es muy agradable y divertido. Recomiendo mucho la experiencia y agradezco mucha la oportunidad de hacer el voluntariado en el hostel Hostal.

I had a great time at the hostel, the hostel itself is lovely and the staff are very kind. I unfortunately did not stay for the whole month as it is currently low tourist season so I was unable to socialize and take part in the daily activities at the hostel. I would highly recommend for summer season!
