Description

We require you to book, the first night only, managing your data as a guest, transmitting the data to the authorities, and assigning your bed in the hostel. PLEASE NOTE: the price starts from 25€ but may vary accordinlgly by the advance booking or hight season!

The Experience

We offer you the opportunity to explore Lecce and Salento while you help us with for a few hours a week. Tasks includes: activities with guests, managing reservations at reception, helping with cleaning and making the beds in the rooms. Applicants must speak English and preferably some Italian but this is not essential. In return you will get free accommodation in a spacious mixed dorm room, free breakfast, free use of the kitchen, and discount

The region is incredible and beautiful. I met people from many countries and Italians too. There aren't many things to do in the city, but it's very beautiful, especially the center. Maria and Alessio are very nice and welcomed me very well. During my last week, I got sick and they helped me with everything I needed and went to the pharmacy to buy me medicine. The tasks are quite simple. When I was alone, it was harder, but whenever I needed help was just ask. The only bad thing is the cleaning team always worked less than the breakfast one. I had the best time at the hostel! Alessio and Maria are both super nice and funny and the vibe of the hostel in general is great, even during low season. The working tasks were really easy and Alessio or Maria were always ready to give me advices on how I could improve. I only worked in the mornings which let me a lot of free time to explore Lecce and Puglia with the other volunteers. I will definitely miss this place and all the people I've met there because it felt like we all became part of a little family. I would highly recommend volunteering there :)
