Experiência maravilhosa, digna de 5 estrelas! O hostel é incrível, a equipe sensacional, Alessio, Antonella e Maria foram maravilhosos comigo e tive uma experiência muito boa e positiva. Lecce é uma graça de cidade, belíssimas praias ao redor, o hostel é um dos melhores que já vi em infraestrutura e muito bem cuidado. Aos meus amigos voluntários deixo um grande abraço e nos vemos pela vida! Nota 10 de 10!

Experiência muito enriquecedora no hostel! O hostel fica a 3 km do centro histórico de Lecce e é uma excelente oportunidade de troca de hospedagem por trabalho na região de Salento. Minhas atividades laborais eram pela manhã de 7:30 às 12:30 e à tarde e à noite estava livre. Levei meu computador para trabalhar com meu trabalho online e trabalhava na sala de leitura. A internet do hostel é ótima, as instalações são todas muito modernas e o hostel tem uma história incrível, era uma fábrica de azeite de oliva há seculos atrás. Aos fins de semana viajava para as cidades vizinhas.

Prepare-se para comer pasta e tomar vinho todos os dias! Os funcionários viraram uma familia longe de casa, sei que sempre terei um pedacinho do meu coração em Puglia, e agradeço demais pelo carinho. Sobre o voluntariado: o trabalho foi super tranquilo, era basicamente preparar a mesa do café, limpar e arrumar as camas, não teve passeios, coisa que senti falta.. e como eu fui fora de temporada, em outubro, não haviam mais ônibus na cidade e para ir para as praias e outras cidades era preciso ir de trem (levava 1h pra mais) ent prepare-se para alguns dias só abraçar il dolce far niente 😂

I had a great time in Lecce! As a part of the cleaning team I helped out to clean the hostel after breakfast, which I did until we finished with the tasks for the day. Winter time is low season there so the work was very light and we were always done pretty early. Then we had the rest of the day to do whatever we wanted to, exploring the city and other places close by for example. I had a lot of fun with Alessio, Maria and the other volunteers, hope to see you again!

My experience at the hostel was brilliant! Maria, Alessio and Antonella made me feel welcome from day one, they're great people and super fun to work with. I did the breakfast shift and everything was clear and well organized. The hostel has a chill, social vibe and we often did dinners, barbecues, pasta nights and mate, which felt like a little family. They even organized my birthday and it was amazing. Lecce is a lovely and relaxed city. Note: buses work well only in summer; the rest of the year you may need a car. Grazie mille! I'd love to come back,truly unforgettable experience! 🫶🏻✨💕

A big thank you to Maria and Alessio! I've really enjoyed my time at the hostel and I'm very glad that I got to be part of your team. Getting to know the other volunteers and spending time with them was also a great part of my time there. During my stay, I was responsible for preparing breakfast, which suited me perfectly. The tasks were clear and consistent, so it was easy to get used to the workflow. In the afternoons and evenings, there was always plenty of free time to explore or relax. All in all, it was a great experience that I can definitely recommend! :)

Paul is a charming person from the first day you meet him; he is very responsible, detail-oriented, and above all, he has a very positive energy to share. He spent 2 months helping out on the breakfast team and I must highlight his commitment to the assigned tasks and the impeccable cleanliness with which he worked. I had an amazing time with Maria, Alessio, and all the volunteers I shared the experience with. Our little family had so much fun, it was really easy to connect with everyone and feel at home! I was part of the breakfast team, working from 7am to 11am, which was great because it left the whole day free to enjoy Lecce and its surroundings. Lecce is a perfect headquarters to explore Puglia, it's super easy to travel by train or bus and make the most of your time ! They are also very flexible with days off, which makes planning even easier. Thank you for your warm welcome <3

I had a great experience volunteering here. The other volunteers became my family and it was really nice to get to know Puglia! I was on the breakfast shift which was great because I had the rest of the day to go to the nearby beaches. Sometimes you will be working alone when the other volunteer has a day off which can be a bit overwhelming if there are a lot of guests and the hours felt unfair compared to the cleaning shift as they only worked 2 hours while I worked 4. Also, the center of Lecce is about a 30 minute walk and there are no bikes to use despite them advertising it.
