This is my first volunteer and I am so grateful for this opportunity! I'm so happy meeting with the team, Stone, Tim, Komo! They are very kind and nice! They always make sure I'm comfortable while staying there. Schedule is given before reaching there and the tasks are straightforward and easy to understand. If you finished earlier you may leave earlier and have fun for the rest of the day! I truly recommend to volunteer here as I don't feel any pressure at all, just do my tasks and connect with ppl then have fun explore Taipei!! I'll be back!! Thanks for everything!! <3

I had a wonderful experience staying at May Rooms. It was my first time in Taiwan and everyone at the hostel was so kind and helpful with tips and recommendations. The work was straightforward and didn't take too long to complete, around 4-5 hours max, usually less. They provided a clean and comfortable sleeping and living area. This was my first Worldpackers experience and May Rooms made it a very positive one. Fell in love with Taipei and I would definitely come back to work and stay again in the future :)

I had a wonderful, 2-week experience with the hostel! I stayed at the hostel MST (extremely clean + beautiful!) in a 12-bed mixed dormitory with fellow international volunteers + guests and volunteered at the Gonguan branch (~ 25 mins. by metro from MST). Here, I worked 5 days/week starting at 10am (after enjoying breakfast provided by the staff) and usually worked less than 5 hrs/day. Tasks included cleaning surfaces and private + shared bathrooms, mopping floors + cutting fruit/preparing breakfast for the next morning. The staff is so kind, welcoming + generous, + Taipei is an amazing city! <3

Everyone at the hostel was so nice! Tim, Stone, Carol, Uen, Jeremy, Nell and James were all so welcoming! I had a lot of free time to explore Taipei. It's such a nice location too, and they also recommended fun things to do nearby! The hostel is very peaceful and it was fun meeting other travelers! Thank you for a wonderful time!

I liked my stay at the hostel! I got to meet other worldpackers, and the full time staff was friendly and helpful. The Beimen Hostel is especially convenient, since it's right next to a metro the hostel as well as the Ximending area for food or shopping. I wish the schedule had been a bit more clearly communicated, especially which days we were moving between the two hostels, but I think that improved during my second week. The work not too hard and we often finished early, so there's plenty of time to explore the city.

I had an amazing time at the hostel- the staff were incredibly friendly, the hours were manageable, the location was great, and the hostel facilities were very nice! I definitely recommend to any travelers looking to explore Taiwan. I was able to take day trips after working to nearby cities and the coast. Thanks to Stone, Carol, Tim and James!

Great experience! The stuff are very easy going and kind. The job is very easy, and the hours are very respected, the location is great, the hostel is btful and close to everything. I really recommend it.
