We are a relaxed hostel, that work to achieve the best experience to the guest.
We have a team in place, composed by 5 members, it has been the same team since we opened.

We will not micromanage anyone, when in need of help, ask!
When you have a question or need guidance, reach!
We are here to help and to make sure that all the necessary tools are provided.


Part of the team! Most member of our the team are Immigrants from other countries, that have become good friends to one another. We believe having different cultures and difference views will make for the optimal experience!

I had such an amazing experience at the LX hill hostel! The work was super easy and the managers were always there if we needed anything. We only worked 5 hours per day so we had so much time to explore the beautiful city of Lisbon. Highly recommend volunteering at this hostel!

This was my first time as a worldpacker and it was perfect! It means a lot to them that this is an experience for you as a traveler and that you have a great time. They’re also happy to help out with recommendations and are always only a phonecall away which was very comforting during shifts. The job is exactly as described in the application and all other comments and you’ll have plenty of time to explore Lisbon, go out and do minitrips too! The hostel is nice and safe and with room to unpack I very soon started to feel at home. I had an amazing time and can’t recommend it enough<3 Go go go!

I spent a wonderful month in Lisbon and I highly recommend it! The hostel was in perfect location: central, safe and close to the city’s main attractions, which allowed me to enjoy both the highlights and more authentic spots. The people I met were kind and welcoming. This experience gave me the chance to connect with locals and other travelers, learn about new cultures and share moments. The team was amazing which made the social aspects even better. Overall it was an incredible experience that help me grow, practice English and truly enjoy lisbon. I definitely recommend LX hill!!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I couldn’t recommend this work exchange enough!! I had so much fun during my time in Lisbon, all thanks to João and the other volunteers. The work is easy, and you have plenty of time to explore Portugal! João is super accommodating and makes you feel very welcomed. I would come back again! 😊

I loved my stay in this hostel! It had a great location in Lisbon, the hours were exactly what it says they will be and the job is very easy and chill to do. It left me a lot of free time to get to know Lisbon.
Joao always replies to the messages and the communication and organization is in general very good.
The permanent staff of the hostel is very nice as well. The other volunteers and environment overall was great! I would definitely recommend this place :)
