I had an amazing experience at Tahanan!
Everyone was so kind to me — Peige and all the staff. We all worked together and helped each other out.
The place is literally right in front of the sea, so you can enjoy the sunset every day from the hotel, and explore the beautiful surroundings of that part of the island.
Food isn’t included, but honestly, the kitchen team was always offering something to eat haha. It was great to try Filipino food and learn how to make pizzas!

I had so much fun volunteering for Tahanan. Everyone was so amazing and friendly, for the whole month they were like family to me! Would go back to volunteer for sure ☺🫶!!

This is hands down the best place on the island, beachfront with a private swimming cliff and stunning views. But the real highlight is the staff, they welcome you like family.

I joined as a yoga instructor but also helped in the dining area when needed. Being proactive is appreciated here.

The place is really amazing. The restaurant has an amazing Seaview, great pool, very chill seating and lounge spots.
On my week I was there and exploring the island, I didn't find a better restaurant in terms of the atmosphere.
You sleep in your own (or shared with one other volunteer) little hut. So cozy.
Especially I wanna emphasize the staff there which is the most easy to talk to and chill one. Shoutout to Louie :)
You have to be aware of, that you have to show initiative to really do something there. Don't be afraid to ask the nice staff :)

I loved my stay in Tahanan. The resort is great, the pool the view the access to the sea and where it is on the island. Next to restaurants, beaches and other shops.
But most of it the team is amazing. I learned so much, they really felt like a family I was so happy to work everyday. I will miss them all.
