Phangan Arena Hostel

As the creator of Phangan Arena i want to consider our employees as family members and our leitmotiv is COME AS A GUEST, LEAVE AS A FRIEND.
Our goal is to make sure that even in a party hostel we can treat our guests with high quality standards. Our volunteers help us so much to be the intermediate with our guests specially when we are really busy. Our aim is to make more friends in a family environment.

I have worked ONLY in 5 stars hotels (Australia, USA,France, Saint Marteen in the Caribbean) and i expect my guests to be treated the best we could. Teaching our employees how important the service is can be challenging. That is the main reason we need the help of volunteers.

All the staff and volunteers at this hotel were so kind and lovely. It was a true family and friend atmosphere. And I want to thank Leandro again for all his help and his kind heart 🙏🏼

loved this place, it was perfect for my first volunteering experience, made so many life long friends and it became my home, the bosses are so kind and caring and volunteers are rewarded well. i would definitely come back to volunteer here :))

Se respetó lo prometido. Leandro ha sido muy amable, flexible, y nos ayudó muchísimo con todo! Tuvimos un grupo hermoso de voluntarios! En algunos momentos sentimos que el ambiente se volvió un poco competitivo entre voluntarios y algunos trabajadores del hostel. Por otro lado la comida es muy rica (mis favoritas fueron las quesadillas especialmente cuando está el cocinero de la tarde!) te dan un monto a gastar en el bar y dependiendo de cómo lo utilices y que consumas te dará para la semana. Dentro de todo estuvo muy bien! Gracias por todo ❤️

I spent 3 weeks volunteering at Phangan Arena and it was truly an amazing experience. This opportunity connected me with so many amazing backpackers, some of which I have continued travelling with in other places. My fellow volunteers were incredibly welcoming and I very quickly felt at home. I got so much out of this experience and I’d recommend it to everyone!

I stayed there for 1 month and during my time there I met incredible people, volunteers and guests. I really enjoyed my stay there and the hostel and the island feel like home. A special thanks to lean for always being so approachable and flexible :))
