Phangan Arena Hostel
As the creator of Phangan Arena i want to consider our employees as family members and our leitmotiv is COME AS A GUEST, LEAVE AS A FRIEND.
Our goal is to make sure that even in a party hostel we can treat our guests with high quality standards. Our volunteers help us so much to be the intermediate with our guests specially when we are really busy. Our aim is to make more friends in a family environment.
I have worked ONLY in 5 stars hotels (Australia, USA,France, Saint Marteen in the Caribbean) and i expect my guests to be treated the best we could. Teaching our employees how important the service is can be challenging. That is the main reason we need the help of volunteers.

Gracias por la increíble experiencia Phangan Arena! Conocimos muchos nuevos amigos en el lugar y realmente la pasamos muy bien, se cumplió tal cual todo lo que se dijo desde un inicio y el intercambio de trabajo fue justo.

My experience as a volunteer was amazing! The tasks were simple and exactly as agreed, which made everything very easy and enjoyable. I had a great time, made lots of friends, and had so much fun exploring the island and sharing moments together. I highly recommend this experience for anyone looking to combine volunteering with fun and good company.

I absolutely loved my time in phangan arena. I was there for 2 weeks and extended to stay longer cos i loved it so much!! the hostel is super social, you play beer pong every night which is the best way to meet people. the volunteer team is amazing and you have lots of time to explore the island and hangout outside of working. The shifts are really easy, Leandro is super lovely and communicates tasks very well, different volunteers do different tasks i did 1hr of cleaning during the day and then 3hrs of socialising (8pm-11pm) at night 6 days a week. Overall could not recommend more :)

I had such a good time at Phangan Arena - the people are so awesome and you really feel like you’re part of one big volunteer family. The work is easy: an hour of cleaning (sweeping + making beds), and socialising at the bar from 8-11pm. It’s such a good deal: you get money to spend at the bar (thai + western food) and a free dinner AND free drinks. We stayed in a 4-bed female dorm with an ensuite and air conditioning (the cleanliness was standard). Overall, the island is beautiful, the energy is great, and the people are so cool :) My favourite worldpackers position yet <3 thanks so much!!

Great place to meet people from everywhere—super social vibe with shared meals and outings. Schedules and tasks were clear from the start, no surprises. Staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help. Highly recommend!
