North Surf House
You should choose us because we are a new Surf House that wants to work as a team and welcome people from all over the world! Each volunteer is special and important to us! We will make sure that you have a good experience, that you feel comfortable at all times and enjoy a good stay at North Surf House! We value every person who visits us to help us and that is why we will also help you in everything you need!
My name is Ezequiel, this is the second hotel project I manage and in my first project, I have hosted approximately 250 volunteers over 3 years, receiving 100% 5 star reviews. This is a new project and we want to repeat what we have done before. It will always be important that the volunteer feels respected and safe to come to our site.

I had an incredible experience at North surf house, it very quickly began to feel like home. The work was fair - exactly as described, and very well organised.
The hostel itself is so cosy and has much more of a homely atmosphere than other hostels you’d typically find in Spain.
Ezequiel goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and have everything you need.
The location is ideal, everything you need is within a 10 min walking distance (supermarket, beaches, parks). Overall amazing experience.

I spent two months as a volunteer, working in reception and cleaning, and I wholeheartedly recommend this experience. The surf house is beautiful, well-kept, and has a warm, modern vibe. The working hours are balanced and well organized, and the tasks are easy to learn.
What I loved the most, however, is the atmosphere inside the surf house: I felt welcome from day one. The manager is always approachable and makes sure everyone has an unforgettable experience.
I met wonderful people who will always have a special place in my heart. 🤍 Thank you, North Surf House! 🙌🏼

My experience at North Surf House in Gijón was fantastic. I had an amazing time with the other volunteers and guests, and the city itself is really cool. It’s the perfect place if you want to surf, relax, have fun, and improve your language skills (especially Spanish). The management deserves a special mention—congratulations to the manager for running everything so smoothly. The tasks were clearly explained, easy to follow, and the working hours were always respected. Overall, it was a super fun and rewarding experience that I’d highly recommend!
