You will learn about the character of different animals and you will learn a lot about yourself! It is important that you believe in yourself and that you want to be the boss in front of the animals.

The farm is run by Sabine and Manfred. We live here since 2012 and had already many volunteers to help us. We treat volunteers with respect , but we expect full respect of our animals and our lifestyle, too!

Sabine and Manfred are incredible hosts! They were always super welcoming, generous and patient. On the farm you get a lot of opportunities to bond with the animals and as someone with almost no experience you learn really quickly how to care for them and be confident. The entire experience is very clear from the beginning and Sabine is excellent at answering any questions. I got to spend the holidays in their home as well which made my time feel extra special. I would recommend any animal lover to stay here

Gratitude and love describe my experience perfectly.
Sabine and Manfred were more than hosts , they truly felt like family. I always felt welcomed and included, and through different activities I had the chance to connect with the local culture.
The work is easy, the first few days might feel a bit challenging, but you learn very quickly.
Spending time with the animals, caring for them with love and responsibility, became part of my daily life.
The food was delicious, and spending Christmas there felt magical. Sharing this experience with other volunteers made it even more special 💚💚

Foi uma das experiências mais enriquecedoras que tive como meu primeiro voluntariado. Manfredi e Sabine são pessoas incríveis e fazem com que os voluntários se sintam em casa e confortáveis. O trabalho é simples e poucas coisas mudam, o horário de trabalho é ok também. Se você tem alergia a poeira e animais eu indico você repensar pois o meu maior problema foi que não consegui cumprir com o combinado da data porque fiquei muito doente por causa da minha alergia pq deve escovar os cavalos, pôneis e os burros. Eles fazem comidas ótimas e são acolhedores. Obrigada por tudo.

I had an amazing experience during my 15-day stay. Manfred and Sabine are incredibly warm, caring, and attentive hosts. They take great care of the volunteers, always making sure everyone feels comfortable and welcome. The meals were delicious, and they shared wonderful conversations. The work with the animals and around the farm was meaningful and enjoyable, and the environment is peaceful and beautiful. I felt very safe, respected, and appreciated throughout my stay. I am truly grateful for this experience and highly recommend this place to other volunteers.

Lama Oase is a great place for a first experience with animals. They can be imposing, so it’s important not to be afraid, but you’ll end up loving them. Sabine and Manfred are very kind and always willing to listen, and I appreciated how thankful they are to their volunteers. They also have pigs, sheep, and chickens for their own use, so if you’re vegetarian or sensitive about that, keep in mind that they handle everything on the farm. However, they are very understanding and will let you take a break during that time. Despite this, I had a really fun stay and learned a lot from the experience
