La Ventana Azul Surf Hostel
Our place is fun, directly at the surf spot, sunny most of the time during the year. The island has a lot of micro climates, you can enjoy hiking in mountains, different types of sport, socialising with guests, find new friends.
We always make sure volunteers have everything they need to feel at home and spend some good time with the rest of the Team and Guests. During our weekly meeting we try to coordinate, support and motivate eachother to reach our goals. We also schedule activities for the following weeks.

Mi estancia al la ventana azul fue genial. El hostal tiene muy buena vibras, desde el primer momento Paul y los demás voluntarios me han hecho sentir a casa, y también se creò un buen ambiente con los huéspedes.
La posición del hostal es perfecta para disfrutar del océano, aprender a surfear, conocer mas a la ciudad y a la isla.
La tareas son claras, bien distribuidas y respetadas, Paul es muy flexible para adaptar los turnos segundo nuestras necesidades.
Estas semanas en la ventana azul siempre las llevare conmigo, espero volver pronto!

My experience volunteering at Ventana Azul Hostel was one of the best I’ve had so far. The hostel is located right on the beach, just steps away from shops, bars, and everything you could wish for. The atmosphere is truly magical, thanks to the amazing people and the vibrant energy of the place. Paul is always there to support us with whatever we need, and the shifts are well organized, making everything run smoothly. I genuinely loved every moment of my time there.

My experience at ventana azul was amazing! The team is full of kind, funny and loving souls and also the manager Paul is super nice. I felt welcome from the first moment i stepped in the hostel.

I had an awesome time! The hostel is nice and has the ideal location. Especially the other volunteers and the manager Paul made the stay perfect! I had one free surf lesson as mentioned before and rented a surfboard for my stay, so I could surf every day. Unfortunately during my time, there were some youth french groups that booked out the entire hostel for some weeks. That's why I didn’t get the full hostel feeling for the entire stay, but some weeks in between there were normal hostel guests again. It didn't take away from the experience though!

My experience at La Ventana Azul was my first one with Worldpackers, and I couldn’t have asked for more. The hostel and the city feel like a happy island, with a warm and cheerful atmosphere from day one.
I built incredible connections with the other volunteers, and together with Paul’s kindness and energy, everything felt truly magical.
Between surfing, the ocean just steps away, and the amazing vibes, it was an unforgettable stay. A memory I’ll carry with me forever! Thank you so much!!
