We have won as the best hostel in France, on hostelworld. It is a safe and cozy place to volunteer. We want to offer an equal opportunity where the volunteers help us and we help them enjoy and learn more about the city of Nice.

Hello guys, my name is Alessandro and together with stefano (the owner) we run the hostel Meyerbeer here in Nice. We are both from Italy but most of our staff & volunteers are normally from all over the world and we love to keep that worldly atmosphere. We are a family fun hostel so we treat our staff and volunteers as such. We ask of our volunteers to be responsible, friendly and trustworthy and in return offer a safe friendly environment to sleep and volunteer.

I had an amazing experience volunteering at Meyerbeer! The hours were great, the work is super straightforward, and the location is perfect. Nice is a beautiful city and I had lots of free time to explore neighboring towns as well. Alessandro and Thomas are extremely welcoming and kind, and the communication about the tasks was very strong and clear. My time volunteering here was perfect and I would love to come back! I would absolutely recommend Meyerbeer :)

This was my first experience volunteering through Worldpackers and I hope everyone gets as lucky as I did!!!! If I could have extended my volunteering for the whole year at hostel Meyerbeer I would have... Alessandro and Thomas were great and explained everything we needed to do and were available at all times during our shift to answer any questions. The location of the hostel is perfect and it is also super clean. You have lots of time to explore Nice and other place!!! I genuinely only have positive things to say about my experience here and Nice!!!

I had an absolutely amazing time volunteering in the hostel! Nice was amazing and we had plenty of time to explore it, while the tasks we had to do were quite simple and easy to do.
I can only recommend the place, i think it was one of the best experiences i have done so far!!

The best experience ever. Stefano, thank you so much for being such a great host to the volunteers. The hostel is clean and located in a beautiful area, plus their breakfast is really good. Alessandro and Thomas, thank you so much for being so kind and patient. They teach you everything and are always ready to answer questions, always with good vibes. The volunteering experience was amazing. The tasks were easy to do, no big deal at all. I just want to thank you so much for letting me be part of the experience at Hostel Meyerbeer. I definitely recommend volunteering here. Nice is nice 😊

I had an amazing time in this Hostel. The work was chill, well explained and well planned out.
I had a lot of free time to connect with the other guests and especially volunteers and explore Nice. The city is full of things to do/see and you can easily do day trips.
The hostel is very close to the beach, which is nice too.
The staff and work environment were extremely welcoming and friendly. I can totally recommend volunteering here ;)
