It is a great opportunity to learn how to farm and to harvest or plant different fruits, vegetables and herbs. It is also a great experience to learn about Turkısh culture and cuisine.

Volunteers get their own private rooms and they have shared bathrooms. They can expect a set schedule of 5 hours of farm work per day, and 3 meals a day are provided. My farm is a certified organic farm on which we harvest or plant all year round, there is always something to do!

This was my first volunteering experience, and it truly felt like home. Emine was kind, respectful, and always made sure we felt comfortable. The other volunteers were also very nice and helpful, which created a warm and supportive atmosphere. I’m really grateful for this experience and would highly recommend it to anyone considering volunteering here.

The first week went relatively well. Tasks were both physical and less physical. Walking the dogs is a nice break.
Because Emine has quite a rigid temperament, and one of the rules is "don't take initiative", I was definitely surprised by how exaggerated her reaction was when I took "initiative" due to miscommunication.
The 2nd week she started being short-tempered and very cynical. It felt like walking on egg shells. The atmosphere became uncomfortable and when I tried to talk to her, her narrative was the only right one.
I left early because I wasn't feeling welcome and comfortable anymore.

I could no longer handle someone who perceived everything in the wrong way. It was very tiring for me. He has started behaving very negatively and rudely in the last few days. Since I was so sick, I continued my daily routines with a mask on my mouth and it was incredible that he argued with me because of this. His communication with other volunteers was poor, he didn't come to breakfast without telling anyone, and eventually left the farm earlier than expected without even cleaning his room.

We stayed at Emine’s farm for two weeks and enjoyed the experience very much. The accommodation was clean and pleasant, and the farm itself was very cosy. The meals that Emine cooked for were good and healthy, made with local produce. She’s a very nice and interesting person, and we had many interesting conversations. The work was simple and working hours were respected. The only thing u struggled with was the fact that the farm is 30-minute (walking) to Torasan, so I would highly recommend renting a car to explore the area. So I would recommend this experience to connect with nature:))

I had a wonderful experience at Emine's farm. The schedules were well-organized, and the instructions for the activities were clear. The work overall combined both high- and low-intensity activities, providing a perfect balance. The food was delicious, accompanied by interesting conversations, and my room was spacious and comfortable. I met a couple of people during my stay and enjoyed visiting nearby places. I definitely recommend volunteering at Emine's farm; I learned so many things. Thank you for everything. 😊🥰

The main tasks include helping with farm work and walking the dogs. Though mornings start early, working in the cool hours makes perfect sense. Mealtimes are especially enriching, offering lively conversations about local history and stories that tourists would rarely hear. She’s very knowledgeable, and I’m grateful I got to learn from her. Surrounded by ten dogs, it’s an ideal place for animal lovers. I especially loved the location, with views of the bay, beach, night lights, and mountains. You can also enjoy the local food.
