HAKİME HANIM ÇİFTLİĞİ

It is a great opportunity to learn how to farm and to harvest or plant different fruits, vegetables and herbs. It is also a great experience to learn about Turkısh culture and cuisine.

Volunteers can visit these places with their time off:

Volunteering for Emine was a lovely experience. The work varied from weeding to watering plants to walking the dogs. Emine is a great cook and meals always came with great conversation. Emine cares a lot about her farm and you get to learn a lot about agriculture in Türkiye. The only thing is that the farm is a bit far from the town, which is expected since it’s a farm.

We had a great time at Emine's farm! It was nice to work outside and be active on the fields, that felt really rewarding! We enjoyed a lot the delicous meals we shared together after work, Emine is truly a wondeful cook. We had interesting discussions together, she answered to all of my questions and she also gave good tips on what to do to discover the area. It was a memorable experience. We would recommend volunteering at Emine's farm!

Everything was great from the first day, the accommodation was like hotel comfort, the food was as delicious and balanced as if it was prepared by a chef, the workload was light. Emine did not mind the changes in my plans while I was there. She picked me up from the city center and then dropped me off. The tasks were understandable and simple. I was given the opportunity to work with farmers and even earned money from there. I am very pleased, it was a good experience

We had an amazing stay at Emine's farm! The tasks were diverse, we got to learn new skills, and the food was delicious! We really enjoyed the lively conversations we had at meal time, we got to share our thoughts and get to know more about Turkish culture. The schedule was well structured and through the routine we could easily adapt to our new environment. We will miss the cats, the dogs, the fields and especially the memories of the time we spent together. We would really recommend volunteering at Emine's farm!

Emine is a wonderful host, farmer and cook - always attentive and ready to help, whether with tasks, transportation or local tips. She truly cares about offering a rich cultural experience.

The house is cozy and well-organised. Work hours are clear and respected, with a nice mix of activities. Meals are generous, though lunch isn’t provided in days off.

The beach, just 10 minutes away, is the perfect post-work retreat
