Participating in the tours Lani is offering, visiting the nearby waterfalls, making a day trip to Puerto Viejo.
If there is extra time, Lani will be happy to show you how to make plantain flour and other valuable stuff.

In exchange you will have the possibility to learn everything about living a healthy life. Lani is generous in sharing her wisdom! You can participate in the tours and learn about the medicinal plants, about cacao and more! You will learn about the edible plants of the area and you can also practice your Spanish if you wish.

Life on Lennie’s farm is amazing! Please read this if you’re considering going: it is camping! You are outside all the time, you shower in a Creek and go to the bathroom under the trees! If you have never camped or lived completely off grid before, maybe try it out before committing to Lannies. You are one with the Costa Rican jungle. If you enjoy this lifestyle; you will have so much fun! Lannie is such a sweet and loving soul, her home becomes yours the instant you arrive. She cares so deeply about everyone’s well being that she gives you plenty of time to rest, heal, and recenter yourself!

I had a lovely stay with Lannie. She is very welcoming and approachable. During my stay, my environment was clean, the food was healthy, and the animal companions kept me in great spirits everyday. The tasks from Lani are very simple, and on my day off I had a good trip to Puerto Viejo with good food and beaches. I would definitely visit Lannie when I visit Costa Rica again!

My experience with Lenie was amazing. This was the first time I was completely disconnected from all the chaos in the outside world. Lenie delivered what she promised “disconnected to reconnect” I loved my time in her home with her and her pets all around. The food was the best part and I also learned a lot about plants and delicious veggie dishes. Couldn’t recommend it enough. Just be ready to fully let go of any luxury like hot showers and a toilet, there we do everything in the nature

I had a very good experience with Lannie. She's a kind woman with extensive knowledge of the usefulness of plants and a simple philosophy of life. The tasks were very simple, and I had time to relax. Life on the farm is all about simplicity, everything in harmony with nature. I recommend it to anyone who wants to disconnect from external stimuli.
