Butterfly Valley

If you are a nature lover and an active person with some good communication skills. We are exactly looking for you. Juts show up and have some unforgettable memories.

We also accept LAST MINUTE requests..

We are a small community living in a spiritual valley in bungalows and tents. We eat together,we share together and serve together. The business that we are running here is unique. We rent our bungalows and tents to people from all around the world. What we expect from our volunteers is general maintenance and any kind of creative work because we are away from concrete jungle and always find a better way to improve our beautiful valley. We don't actually have strict shifts, if something has to be done one of our available staff gives a hand. We offer 3 meals everyday. ALL YOU CAN EAT :) Minimum stay is 1 month, could be more if we link well. As we are living in a valley, there is only one way to get to mainland and it's our boats and it takes 25 minutes to get there. Every single day we have our captain here and you can reach to mainland in any emergency or something. Also you can just swim or enjoy the nature. Here you can interact and make lifetime friends. None of us work here, we are just make a bond with our valley with whole parts.

My experience in BV was not what I expected. I was looking for a human experience and found a place focused on money. I was there with my partner and I didn’t like the way she was treated as a woman. The working hours and schedule was a total mess, communication between managers was awful and never had a clear schedule on how to proceed with tasks. The staff wasn’t looking very happy and everyone was afraid of "the boss". That kind of managing does’t suit with my values. I booked a month stay and ended up leaving after three days. The place is beautiful, meals and accomodation were respected.

You tried to make money in our establishment without any permission or boundaries. We tried to support you, but you did not behave in an acceptable manner. Hygiene is the most important thing, and you even violated that.

We were excited for a good experience, but this place was a total disappointment. It’s disorganized, not spiritual at all, and felt like a tourist trap. We applied for social media, but they didn’t know what to do with us. They tried to benefit from my tattoo work without offering space or respect. I was told to dance beside my partner like an object — I felt deeply disrespected as a woman. Also, they prefer single women and don’t treat couples well. If you're looking for a deep, conscious experience, this is not the place. AVOID if youre looking for an organized and respectful place.

You said, 'If I don’t do tattoos, I will leave because I need money.' You gave a tattoo without our permission and in complete disregard of hygiene rules.
You also mentioned that you're a dancer and that you could dance. Lying doesn't suit you at all. Fortunately, we’ve reached out to the relevant parties about this matter.

I've had an amazing time at the Valley! The place is simply paradise! With turquoise water, beautiful nature, fruit trees and so on! But what made it truly special was the connections with the volunteers and some locals! We bonded so much and created a beautiful period together, going for swims everyday, paddle boarding, sharing, playing music, dancing and chatting around!❤️
Communication about organization of volunteers was sometimes confusing, as there's always changes on their staff, but this didn't make the experience less enjoyable! Food and accommodation were great! Recommend a lot!

Accommodation and food portions provided were great. You could always go to get seconds, and you have half off on most of the stuff sold in the valley! The staff that you meet is full of very kind people that if you’re willing to work through translating are very fun to talk to. Only downside is that the communication with the volunteers, and accuracy of our job description is a little chaotic. That could change over time, but it really depends who’s in charge of the volunteers at the time. If you can handle that you will do just fine in the valley!
