Butterfly Valley

If you are a nature lover and an active person with some good communication skills. We are exactly looking for you. Juts show up and have some unforgettable memories.

We also accept LAST MINUTE requests..

We are a small community living in a spiritual valley in bungalows and tents. We eat together,we share together and serve together. The business that we are running here is unique. We rent our bungalows and tents to people from all around the world. What we expect from our volunteers is general maintenance and any kind of creative work because we are away from concrete jungle and always find a better way to improve our beautiful valley. We don't actually have strict shifts, if something has to be done one of our available staff gives a hand. We offer 3 meals everyday. ALL YOU CAN EAT :) Minimum stay is 1 month, could be more if we link well. As we are living in a valley, there is only one way to get to mainland and it's our boats and it takes 25 minutes to get there. Every single day we have our captain here and you can reach to mainland in any emergency or something. Also you can just swim or enjoy the nature. Here you can interact and make lifetime friends. None of us work here, we are just make a bond with our valley with whole parts.

Butterfly valley was an amazing place, the workers there are really lovely and welcoming and the other volunteers were really nice and good people and tbh they made my experience better.
The nature is exceptional, the beach I loved every single detail about butterfly valley.
Working hours were very respected 5 hours a day 6 days per week the tasks may vary but you don’t get what you applied for.
Food was good, sometimes the portions aren’t enough.
But there’s a language barrier, and in the beginning no one showed me around so I felt really lost.
But in general it was the best first trip.

It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been, with crystal-clear water and amazing nature. We stayed for a month and a half (13/08–28/09), and I helped at the Rock Bar, which has a stunning view. I missed having someone who spoke English to teach me how to make drinks. The food is good but sometimes portions are small and you can’t get seconds. The tent is fine to sleep in. There’s no person in charge of volunteers, so communication can be confusing. Some random rules are created, and you can’t sit/rest everywhere. Still, I truly recommend the experience, I met amazing people there.

My time in the Valley was unforgettable. From the very first moment I arrived, I immediately felt at home. The place is breathtakingly beautiful and radiates incredible energy. I quickly connected with all the volunteers and staff, and together we created a wonderful family. The tasks were simple and enjoyable, and I ended up being part of a really nice working team.
there were also a few downsides. The food portions were sometimes too small, and we had some issues with the owner, who started treating the staff and volunteers unfairly and making up unnecessary rules. Still, 200% reccomended

In Batterfly Valley it took me a little to feel at home. Unfortunately when I arrived I felt a lot of tension in between the staff, the person I spoke to through the app was not there anymore. Due to this general confusion I found myself helping in roles I had not applied for, but in the end I adapted as much as possible, it was ok. This particular atmosphere could sometimes be a little difficult to face alone and for this I thank all the volunteers, we spent wonderful moments together trying to create our own space, a natural safe space, where in the end we even danced and laughed for hours.
