Bed Station Hostel & Bar

While volunteering here at Bed Station, you will be living at the party! Every weekend we host amazing parties at our bar downstairs, giving you the chance to mingle with travelers and locals alike. During the day, you can spend time relaxing and sharing a coffee with friends at the bar, or soaking up the sun on one of our beautiful balconies. On your days off, you will have plenty of time to explore the beautiful nature surrounding Shkoder!

I would describe myself as a fun-loving and positive person, and I try to find staff and volunteers with the same energy. We are always here for you if you need anything and we want to make you feel at home during your time with us!

I had an amazing time volunteering at this hostel. The staff was welcoming, the work was fair, and the atmosphere was super friendly. I met great people, learned a lot, and always felt appreciated. I’d definitely recommend this place!

The owner is good person, same for the staff. The bar area is very nice, location is 10 out of 10. They’re also very flexible. However, communication and organization could definitely use some improvement. A lot of details may bring every day surprises that shouldnt exist. Its one of those places they just rely a lot on short term volunteers to do everything themselves, which in my opinion is counting on lucky and not best approach. Good place after all, I recommend them.

My experience was amazing! Rino was a great host. He took us under his wing as if we were family and showed us the best parts of shkoder whenever he could. It is a good place to volunteer if you are looking for a chill, fun and warm environment. It is a small group of volunteers which gives you the opportunity to get to know each other really well. The bar staff is also great and so nice. Love everyone I had the chance to work and live with.❤️

Marianne an amazing volunteer! Always kind, positive, and full of good vibes. She brought a warm and friendly energy to Bed Station and quickly became part of the family. Very helpful with the work and a joy to have around. I highly recommend her and truly hope our paths cross again in the future! 🌼

i love bedstation!!!! rino was such an amazing host and is so welcoming and kind. he has such a fabulous energy and was so good about taking the volunteers to places that you wouldn’t normally see as just a tourist which was so appreciated. the work was very chill and straightforward as well. i definitely recommend talking with the people at the bar, they are all so so lovely. shkoder was such a great town to spend time in and i miss everyone and shkoder so much already!

Sonja is one of those volunteers full of positive energy and always smiling. She brought so much joy to our place, created lots of fun moments, and we had a great time together. She also helped a lot with the work and I highly recommend her. I really hope we will meet again in the future! 🌟

This was my first experience with volunteering and I fear nothing will ever live up to it! I can’t stress enough how much fun it was to be part of the bed station team. Rino was an amazing character in our time there and I believe we have made a friend for life with him. He went above and beyond to make sure our time there was a good experience. He took us on day trips and showed us the best spots in skhoder. We will definitely be back! We love you Rino! Hours were super flexible and work was easy, definitely recommend!

Charlotte and Freya were absolute angels! They brought amazing energy, so much love, and constant positivity to the hostel. Always smiling, hardworking, and super organized with everything they did. I recommend them 100%! We became really good friends and I already miss them a lot — hope to see them again soon. 💛
