Amazing Experience at Portugal in Alentejo

The house is surrounded by green spaces, silence reigns, interrupted only by the sounds of the countryside. We favor a simple environment, authentic, cozy and comfortable, where luxury is nature itself. Between the countryside and the beach are the most beautiful and well-preserved coastal areas of southern Europe where you can still find true natural treasures: pristine beaches, lagoons, places lost in time, walking trails.
It`s the ideal place to stroll, rest and live with nature.

We are a couple with 55 years. We like to get along, meet new people and relax. We like to read, walk and travel. We will help you to know about our beautiful Alentejo coast. Our basic team has 6 people and we have in high season 3 or 4 volunteers. We have 10 rooms for guests and 2 for volunteers.

I had such an amazing time here. From the moment Jorge picked me up with a warm smile, I felt truly welcomed, and everyone I met was so kind. The place itself is incredibly cozy, a perfect spot to step away from a busy schedule and enjoy the quiet, simple life in the countryside. Working hours are respected, the food is great and the overall experience is wonderful. Ana and Jorge have created something truly special here.

I loved my time in Ponte Pedra! Everybody was so friendly and welcoming, they easily made me feel at home. Everything was so calm and peaceful, and even if I had wokring hours, I still felt like on vacation. I loved it here and I’ll definitely be back! Thank you so much for this opportunity! 🤗

This was my first volunteer experience, I had a great time at Ponte Pedra. Since the first moment I felt very welcome, all the team has a good vibe. It is perfect to connect with the nature, rest and have full peace for the time you are there.

Highly recommend this experience! I spent a month at Ponte Pedra, and wished I had of stayed longer. Ana and Jorge are such wonderful hosts, always very warm and welcoming. The work is very fair and the bikes are a great addition to get around, to the beach and nearby towns. They are very committed to sustainability and it was rewarding to learn new ways to be more environmentally conscious. Ponte pedra has a special place in my heart, I hope I get the opportunity to return very soon!

As all the other reviews tend to say, you can’t beat volunteering here! You hungry? Volunteers don’t know the meaning of that word here! You want to socialise? All the staff will happily talk on any subject, the other volunteers too, and if you want your space, everybody understands. There’s plenty of exploring to do from castles to beaches, bird watching to paddle tennis, cycling through beautiful landscapes or sunbathing by the pool. Don’t ask any more questions, just apply and pray you get accepted.
