Me quedé 3 semanas y no pudo haber sido una mejor experiencia! El lugar es precioso, se pueden ver muchos animales e insectos - si no les gustan como a mí, les prometo que es cosa de acostumbrarse- y tiene acceso a un rio muy lindo que es perfecto para refrescarse luego de una mañana de trabajo. El ambiente que se genera es lo máximo, realmente se siente como estar en familia y es lo que más extrañaré 🫶🏼. Alex es un host y persona increíble, super buena onda, comprensivo y preocupado de que todos estén cómodos. No duden en ir, se divertirán un montón y se llevarán los mejores recuerdos!

My stay at La Comarca was amazing. Thanks to the diversity of tasks and activities I feel that this experience was very developing and I learnt a lot of new useful skills and knowledge. Moreover, the working hours were flexible which ensured good wellbeing. Alex, the host, is super the lodge and welcoming, and the other volunteers were great, I had so much fun with everyone during my stay. Loved the energy, the teamwork, laughed a lot!! spent plenty of time in nature. I would certainly come back to La Comarca and recommend it to others. Big up!!

I had such an amazing time at La Comarca!!! Everyone was so the lodge and helpful, Alex was very nice, he would answer all your questions and do his best to make your stay very pleasant! There were various tasks, one could choose from and it never got boring!! The property was very nice, next to a river and overall I had such a great time there!

Una experiencia que me llevo para siempre! No duden ni un segundo en venir, el ambiente que se crea es muy sano y divertido, sin hablar de lo bonito que es el lugar. Alex hace todo lo posible para que nos sentamos cómodos y siempre está abierto a nuevas ideas!

Tant de bonheur, de bonne humeur, de rires et de délires : c'était incroyable ! L'endroit est superbe, les tâches sont diversifiées et sans pression. Alex est disponible et à l'écoute à tout moment. Très contente d'avoir pu l'aider dans les tâches du quotidien et l'amélioration du lieu. Chaque jour était génial en sa compagnie et avec le reste de la team de volontaires 😍

I really enjoyed my stay at La Comarca!! The host Alex was super the lodge and flexible and put in so much effort! I met wonderful people, the place was clean and cozy, always enough food and enough space for yourself in your own small room. There is even a car for the volunteers It was surrounded by nature, birds and a river where you can swim in and there was a lot to see and do around Quepos! The work was totally okay, preparing breakfast for the guests, cleaning the domes after and taking turns in who cooks for everyone! It was really fun and great, I absolutely reccommend it!

Loved everything about my time at La Comarca. Alex is the man! If you want to learn how to do something, he will teach you or give you the opportunity to learn. There's a variety of tasks to do every day so everyone can get involved, from helping to build domes to painting signs. You also get a lot of time to hang out with other volunteers, which makes the experience 100% worth it. I highly recommend it for anyone who's wants to meet people, reconnect with nature, learn, and have a good time. I only wish I could do it again!

Fue nuestro primer voluntariado junto con mi pareja Juan y quedamos muy contentos con la experiencia. Alex es realmente una persona increible, siempre atento a todo lo que se necesita y a explicar si es necesario. El lugar es hermoso para conectar con la naturaleza y las tareas eran muy sencillas de realizar. Solo nos quedamos 10 dias por una cuestion de intinerario pero sin duda nos hubieramos quedado mucho mas!
