A 5-star experience! the hostel is a new hostel & the beds are super comfortable (best sleep ever!). Lisa is absolutely wonderful & easy to work with, while Marian allows you to take control of projects & provides easy, concise feedback. I recommend being proactive; the work is manageable & leaves you plenty of time to explore the city & surrounding areas. Kosice is a perfect small town to be based in—it's very easy to walk, has a great transportation system, & offers amazing hiking close by. Don't miss the day trips!

A 5-star experience! We loved witnessing the progress here. It's new & restful, perfect for proactive volunteers who enjoy finding ways to help (cleaning/organizing/projects) but value time to explore the city & outdoors. Marian was an excellent host & Lisa a supportive coordinator. Both ensured we had everything we needed & valued our input. Kitchen & laundry are now open to guests & improvements are happening daily. Highlights: Hiking nearby trails, city culture (National Theater - 5€ tix!) & day trips. We loved it so much we are coming back this summer to volunteer at another location!

Great experience, right in the center of the city, easy access to the old city Cinema, shopping center, coffee shops, traditional food restaurants and town's swimming pool. Plus, a yoga facility right around the corner.

I have mixed feelings about my experience at the hostel, mostly because the "hostel" was quite different from what is described here on Worldpackers. Yes, the location is nice, and Kosice is a lovely city, but that's about it. There was no real staff, no reception, and no social life; it's basically an Airbnb-type business with volunteers serving as staff. I was alone there for the first part of my stay, and a LOT of basic things were missing for the hostel to be properly functioning. The hostel was not a priority for the owners, and it showed. I still believe the place has potential.

Great hostel right in the center of Košice, located in a historic building with a beautiful vintage design. Lots of interesting places nearby and a very friendly team. Thanks for the opportunity to visit other cities and stay in hostels from the same network. Highly recommended!
